Secrets Hidden in the Dark is the 24th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Secrets Hidden in the Dark main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region > Springtide Mill
- Chapter: 2 – Golden Greed
- Sub-Chapter: Hernand in Chaos
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Where Misery Gathers
- Reward: x1 Standard Inventory Expansion Tool, x5 Grilled Meat, x5 Grilled Fruit
- Quest Description: They say there’s a Greymane in town. Look for your potential comrade.
Objectives:
- Find the Greymane
- Follow the man on horseback
- Investigate the suspicious cave
- Go outside the cave
- Go to the guards
Find the Greymane
Head to the marker on the map just outside of Bloomwood Ranch:
Upon arrival you will see two guys harassing a drunkard, Boris. This is the Greymane you need to speak with.
Follow the man on horseback
Call your horse ( 
) and start following Boris. Follow him all the way to the cave with the bandits. Walk with him until the cutscene starts.
Investigate the suspicious cave
Head forward and take out the enemies in the cave opening. Once they are all cleared out make your way all the way to the bottom of the cave in the back. Use your lantern ( 
/ 
) to look at the blue ghsots to learn the memory ‘Lair of the Animal Thieves’.
Then play the memory by holding the Options-Button and click the bottom icon in the right sidebar. Alternatively, use the Visione helmet from the inventory and manually select the memory.
Go outside the cave
After watching the memory, head back outside of the cave where you will be shown a cutscene.
Go to the guards
Head to the marker a short walk to the northeast. Approach the guards and lock onto them to speak to them.
This finishes Secrets Hidden in the Dark in Crimson Desert.
