Where the Light Leads is the 14th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Where the Light Leads main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 2 – Golden Greed
- Sub-Chapter: Unexpected Gift
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Woman in White
- Reward: x10 Arrows
- Quest Description: Rulupee’s lost pendant began to shine shortly after returning from the mysterious world of the Abyss.
Objectives:
- Go to Lioncrest Watchtower
- Defeat the bandits occupying Lioncrest Tower
- Ascend Lioncrest Watchtower
Go to Lioncrest Watchtower
Locate the marker on the map (likely to be in fog), and run toward it:
Once you get close enough the objective will update.
Defeat the bandits occupying Lioncrest Watchtower
Inside the courtyard of the Watchtower are about 10 enemies you must defeat. It’s best to take out the archers first, do light attacks with 
or heavy attacks with 
.
Tip: Light attacks don’t consume stamina, but heavy attacks do. Heavy attacks are better against enemies that use shields.
If you die here, you can revive at the checkpoint which is directly in front of the watchtower. If you really struggle, you could backtrack to Hernand to buy some meat from the meat vendor and consume it to restore health.
Ascend Lioncrest Watchtower
Once you get control of Kliff again head forward slightly to be told to use a Fire Arrow on the shrubbery covering the door. Press and hold the 
button to hold back an arrow and while holding it back put the tip of it in one of the torches ahead of you to light the tip on fire. Once the tip is visibly on fire shoot it at the shrubbery to get rid of it.
Alternatively, you can also set things on fire with Focused Light ( 
+ > hold / 
+ > hold ).
Another method to skip this objective is to climb to the top of the tower and drop in through the open roof. You can climb big distances by using 3 force palms in midair: jump and press 3x 
to boost yourself up – can also rest on the window stills around the tower to let stamina recover.
Regardless of how you do it, you must reach the top floor of the tower and pick up the Visione Helmet. Interacting with it will immediately start the next quest Memory Fragment.
