Force Palm is an important ability in Crimson Desert, it’s frequently used to connect objects to solid surfaces for puzzles. It can also be used in combat to weaken an enemy’s defense value, and you can even used it 3 times in midair to boost yourself up to great heights. It can also be turned into a “Healing Palm” to heal your horse. Force Palm is learned automatically in Chapter 1, during Main Quest: Abyss Without Balance.
Force Palm uses the following button inputs:
- PS5: Press R3
- Xbox: Press Right Stick
- PC/MAC: Click the Mouse Wheel
Note that Force Palm requires Spirit, which you can recharge by holding L3+R3 (Left Stick + Right Stick) or “X” key on PC/MAC.
Tips for using Force Palm:
- Use Force Palm to climb tall cliffs/buildings. Jump and while in midair use Force Palm 3 times in a row. It will catapult you up, a very quick way to climb any tall wall without consuming stamina.
- While holding R3 / Right Stick to aim Force Palm, you can press L3 / Left Stick to turn it into a Healing Palm. You can use this to heal your horse. The horse health is visible from the Inventory Menu when you switch to your horse (horse must be summoned nearby).
- Against bosses it’s great to debuff their defense value temporarily.
