Echoes Of Then is a side mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Echoes Of Then side quest. Echoes Of Then is the first part of the Quest Chain “Let Fire Consume the Ashen Past”.
- Starting Location: OMV Dijiang
- Quest Giver: Starts automatically after completing Main Mission 21 – Cradle of the Ages
- Requirement: Complete Main Mission 21 – Cradle of the Ages
- Reward: T-Creds x4,250, Advanced Combat Record x1, Protoprism x6, Arms INSP Set x1, EXP x150
- Quest Description: Following recent events, Perlica invites you to return to Dijiang’s Statis Core to assess memory recovery progress.
Objectives:
- Read Perlica’s messages
- Return to Dijiang and go to the Statis Core
- Inspect the Protocol Singularity
- Check your surroundings
- Travel forth together
- Defeat the enemies before you (2)
- Travel forth together
- Search for memories together (4)
- Scan the place and look for a path forward
- Defeat the enemies
Starting Location: OMV Dijiang
You receive this mission automatically in your missions menu after Main Mission 21 – Cradle of the Ages.
Read Perlica’s message
Open your Baker and access this message from Perlica.
Return to Dijiang and go to the Statis Core
Teleport to the OMV Dijiang and head to the northeast corner of Dijiang, near the Reception Room.
Enter the room to progress.
Inspect the Protocol Singularity
If you ever need it, this is what you interact with if you decide to change the gender of your character.
For the sake of the quest, interact with the Protocol Singularity and select “View.”
You then get a dialogue option. You must choose “Touch it” to progress the quest.
This starts a mission.
Check your surroundings
When you regain control, follow the path in front of you.
Approach the woman you come across to continue.
Travel forth together
Continue straight into the clearing.
Defeat the enemies before you (2)
Take out the two enemies in front of you. Doing so triggers a cutscene.
Travel forth together
Use the ice blocks to go across the water. If you go into the water, you will drown.
Search for memories together (4)
Memory 1: First, follow the path to the left.
Take the path to the left. Two torches light up when you get there.
Interact with the stone fixture in the back of the path.
Memory 2: Leave this path and go left.
Take the left path again into a room filled with fire.
Defeat the enemy and then interact with the stone structure at the back of the room.
Memory 3: Leave this path and go straight.
At the split in the path, go left.
Approach the stone fixture in front of you.
Memory 4: Leave this path and go left.
Where the path splits, go left again.
Take out the enemy. Then, interact with the stone fixture.
Scan the place and look for a path forward
Use Scan (Hold R2 to open the tools menu).
Leave the way you came and go right.
At the first juncture, go left and then immediately right.
Approach the closed gate on the right. It opens automatically.
Head straight toward the battlefield. This triggers an unskippable cutscene.
Defeat the enemies
Take out the enemies in front of you. A few spawn in after you take out the first wave.
This finishes Echoes Of Then side quest in Arknights Endfield.
