Farming Toils is an Exploration Mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Farming Toils Exploration Mission.
- Starting Location: Valley IV > Originium Science Park
- Quest Giver: Automatically unlocked after completing Exploration Mission – Outpost: Ifra-Station
- Requirement: Complete Exploration Mission – Outpost: Ifra-Station
- Reward: 40 Oroberyl, 2,650T-Creds, 7 Intermediate Combat Records, 4 Protoprism, 6 Arms INSP Kits, and 160 EXP
- Quest Description: Noffman has sent you a message. His friend Vera has an issue on her hands. She works at the Eco-Farm near the Infra-Station. Go there and check the situation.
Objectives:
- View Noffman’s message
- Go to the Eco-Farm and talk to Vera
- Gather Tartpeppers (0/5)
- Give the Tartpeppers to Vera
- Buy Tartpepper Seed from Wellmorin (Optional) / Use a Seed-Picking Unit to get Tartpepper Seeds
- Give the Seeds to Vera
- Use Crafting to craft Tartpepper Plot
- Talk to Vera
- Place the Tartpepper Plot
- Talk to Vera

You can immediately start this Exploration Mission after finishing Exploration Mission – Outpost: Ifra-Station.
View Noffman’s message
Open your messages and read Noffman’s message.
Go to the Eco-Farm and talk to Vera.
Head to the farm near the camp and find Vera. Approach her to start a cutscene.
Gather Tartpeppers (0/5)
Turn around and head north. You’ll see a path leading up the mountain on your left. Take this path.
After getting to the top, collect 5 Tartpeppers.
Give the Tartpeppers to Vera
Jump down the mountain and speak with Vera again.
Buy Tartpepper Seed from Wellmorin (Optional) / Use a Seed-Picking Unit to get Tartpepper Seeds
You can either buy the Seeds from the vendor or learn to produce the Tartpepper Seeds yourself. If you purchase the seeds, each seed will cost 2000 Stock Bills. If you choose to craft it, it opens up the opportunity to learn how to cultivate plants. This is a much better option.
Suppose you choose to acquire the seeds by crafting them, you need to unlock the Basic AIC – 2 and Research Planting. Complete the Tutorial to acquire the blueprint and craft it. To start producing the seeds.
Give the Seeds to Vera
Head back up to Vera at the farm and give her the seeds.
Use Crafting to craft Tartpepper Plot
Open up your backpack and select the crafting option. From there, tab over to the Planting section and select the Tartpepper Plot, which requires Tartpepper Seeds and Carbon.
Talk to Vera
Speak to Vera again, and she will tell you to plant the seeds in the field.
Place the Tartpepper Plot
Open up your backpack and select the Tartpepper Plot to plant it.
Talk to Vera
Speak to Vera one last time.
You receive 40 Oroberyl, 2,650T-Creds, 7 Intermediate Combat Records, 4 Protoprism, 6 Arms INSP Kits, and 160 EXP.
This finishes the Farming Toils side quest in Arknights Endfield.
