Arknights Endfield Had To Be Done Walkthrough

Had to be Done is a side mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Had to be Done mission.

• Starting Location: Valley IV > The Hub
• Quest Giver: Vallia
• Requirement: Unlocks after reaching Authority Level 15
• Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 4250 T-Creds, 18 Intermediate Combat Record, 14 Arms INSP Kit, 300 EXP
• Quest Description: The gate of the Originium Byproduct Processing Center main building cannot be opened. Figure out a way to connect it to the power grid.

Objectives:

1. Talk to Vallia
2. Re-activate the main switch
3. Go to 2F of the building / Talk to Vallia again
4. Switch on the production system power mains
5. Talk to Vallia

Starting Location: Had To Be Done

Talk to Vallia / Supply power to the gate of the Originium BPPC building

Head to the Originium Byproduct Processing Center. You’ll find Vallia standing in front of an Electric Nexus. He asks you to restore power to the nexus so you can get inside the main building.

Build Relay Towers from the outside of the Originium Byproduct Processing Center until you can reach the Electric Nexus to power it up. The TP Point east of the Old Water Plant is a good place to start building. It should only take three Power Relays from that location to have enough Transmission wire.

Once the power is connected, open the gate and head inside. Once inside, you will be asked to leave and return to talk with Vallia.

Re-activate the main switch

He tells you that you need to reactivate the main switch by pressing the pressure plates with movable crates.

There are two crates you can see in the room. One is a double-stacked crate, and another is on a small platform. Grab the double crate and move it over to the platform where the single crate is located. Jump up the boxes and onto the double crate, and then to the platform with the single crate.

Grab the single crate and jump off the platform with the crate in tow. Look for the pressure plate right in front of the elevator and the lock gates. Place the crate on the pressure plate to unlock the gate, revealing another crate.

Place all three crates on the three pressure plates to restore power.

Go to 2F of the building / Talk to Vallia again

Vallia enters the building and can be found behind a console. Talk to him, and he’ll tell you to head to the second floor. Once on the second floor, follow the path to the control room to Rammu. He asks you to turn the production system back on.

Switch on the production system power mains

You must now solve a puzzle that asks you to move the platforms so the conveyor belt starts moving and processes the materials.

The leftmost button moves the bottom section. The second button moves the bottom and middle sections in opposite directions. The third button only moves the top section. You know the sections are connected from an orange hue that appears to indicate the belt is moving.

1. Begin by pressing the third button until the top section of the conveyor belt is connected and turns on.
2. Press the middle panel until the bottom section is connected.
3. Press the first panel until the middle section is connected.

Talk to Vallia

Once production starts up, head back down to the first floor and speak with Vallia.

You receive 75 Oroberyl, 4250 T-Creds, 18 Intermediate Combat Record, 14 Arms INSP Kit, 300 EXP.

This finishes the Had to be Done side mission in Arknights Endfield.
