This guide shows the requirements for unlocking all the Operators in Call of Duty Vanguard. Operators are characters you can play as in Zombies or Multiplayer, who can be levelled up for some cosmetic unlocks. All Operators also have a favorite weapon, which when used while playing as that Operator will grant you double Weapon XP and double Operator XP. Due to this it is recommended to unlock the respective Operator if you want to level up one of these weapons to make the levelling process faster.
All Operators have different unlock requirements for both Zombies and Multiplayer, however if you unlock them in one mode, they will be available in both modes. You do not need to complete both requirements to have full access to an Operator. There are 12 Operators to unlock in the base game, with 3 Operators in each of the 4 Squads.
Hellhounds
Daniel
- Favorite Weapon: M1 Garand
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 2000 Eliminations with Marksman Rifles
- Kill 2000 zombies of any type with any of the weapons in the Marksman Rifle category, kills can be farmed in Objective Portals where there are infinite zombies
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 200 Marksman Rifle Kills
- Simply get 200 kills while using any weapon from the Marksman Rifle category
Wade
- Favorite Weapon: Type 100
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 250 Kills with Field Upgrades
- Field Upgrades are the artifacts you can equip in your loadout, Energy Mine or Ring of Fire are best for getting kills
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 100 Headshots
- Aim for the head and get 100 kills
Halima
- Favorite Weapon: MP-40
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Eliminate 3 Sturmkriegers
- Sturmkriegers are the elite zombies with massive machineguns that start spawning from Round 6 onwards, simply kill 3
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 50 Prone Kills
- This is best done from sniper positions or anywhere that you can go prone and watch an objective, simply remain prone while going for kills
Shadow
Polina
- Favorite Weapon: 3-Line Rifle
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 250 Critical Kills with Sniper Rifles
- Critical Kills are for killing a zombie with a headshot, so aim for the head while using any weapon in the Sniper Rifle category
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 200 Sniper Kills
- Simply get 200 kills while using any weapon from the Sniper Rifle category
Solange
- Favorite Weapon: NZ-41
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 2000 Eliminations with Assault Rifles
- Kill 2000 zombies of any type with any of the weapons in the Assault Rifle category, kills can be farmed in Objective Portals where there are infinite zombies
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 10 Double Kills
- Double Kills are for getting 2 kills in quick succession, this can be done easily with explosives, killstreaks or simply using your gun in heavy traffic areas or on objectives
Shigenori
- Favorite Weapon: Type 11
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Earn 100 Slaughter Medals (5 rapid kills)
- Slaughter Medals are for getting 5 zombie kills in quick succession, simply group of packs of zombies and kill them all quickly
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Perform 25 Finishing Moves
- Finishing Moves are special melee kills from behind, try and flank behind people or hide somewhere you know people will run past and sneak up behind them
Barbarian
Roland
- Favorite Weapon: STG44
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 1500 Eliminations using Pack-A-Punched weapons
- Pack-A-Punched weapons are all weapons that have blue, purple or orange outlines, they do not need to be manually Pack-A-Punched yourself. Any weapons of these rarities received from the Mystery Box, glowing crates, red crystals or Sturmkriegers will count towards this.
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 300 AR Kills
- Simply get 300 kills while using any weapon from the Assault Rifle category
Lucas
- Favorite Weapon: Owen Gun
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Use SMGs to Eliminate 50 Boom-Schreiers
- Boom-Schreiers are the red, screaming zombies that explode on impact or death, kill 50 of these with any of the weapons from the SMG category
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 100 Hipfire Kills
- Simply get 100 kills without aiming down the sights, best done with shotguns or SMGs
Beatrice
- Favorite Weapon: AS44
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Complete 100 Portal Objectives
- Portal Objectives are Blitz, Harvest and Transmit, the small objectives you must complete in the mini-map areas, each objective is the equivalent of 1 round so you must effectively complete 100 rounds
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 5 Kills Without Dying 10 Times
- Simply get a 5 killstreak 10 times, if you struggle with this either staying near objectives or sniping people from a safe distance are good ways to do this without too much danger
Sentinel
Arthur
- Favorite Weapon: Sten
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Successfully Exfil 3 times
- Once you reach round 5 in any game you are able to Exfil (which in Der Anfang can be done via the statue in Fountain Square), exfil will require you to kill a certain number of zombies and then reach a portal before the timer runs out
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 10 Kills with Killstreaks
- Simply use any of the killstreaks to get 10 kills
Constanze
- Favorite Weapon: MG42
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 2000 Eliminations with LMGs
- Kill 2000 zombies of any type with any of the weapons in the LMG category, kills can be farmed in Objective Portals where there are infinite zombies
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 300 LMG Kills
- Simply get 300 kills while using any weapon from the LMG category
Padmavati
- Favorite Weapon: Combat Shotgun
- Zombies Unlock Requirement: Get 20 or more consecutive Kills with a Shotgun without getting hit 50 times
- Best done on earlier rounds before Sturmkriegers spawn as they can hit you from range, use any weapon from the Shotgun category to kill 20 zombies without getting hit, and do this 50 times
- Multiplayer Unlock Requirement: Get 200 Shotgun Kills
- Simply get 200 kills while using any weapon from the Shotgun category
