Downtown is the fifth subquest in Chapter 1: Act 2, Archaic Lord, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Downtowns Archon Subquest.
Downtown is unlocked automatically when you finish The Realm Within.

Mission Description: Find kite materials for the Rite of Parting
Objectives:
- Go and buy kites
- Find the three workers (3)
- Give the Qingxin flower to Tic
- Talk to Childe
Starting Location: Liyue
Go and buy kites
Head over to Granny Shan in Liyue Harber.
Zhongli again doesn’t have money, but Childe steps in and pays for the seven kites.
Find the three workers (3)
Worker #1: Head to the southern path and head east a short distance to find the first worker, Toe. He sells you crystalflies for the Rite of Parting.
With each of the three workers, you can choose to barter with them on price. Move the slider to adjust the price and then hold the confirm button to submit the offer. This matters because you get to keep the leftover Mora after buying from the three workers.
Unfortunately, you cannot just go straight to the lowest number and expect the worker to accept the offer. Generally, move the cursor 1/3rd of the way to the left, and the workers accept.
Worker #2: When you take control, look up toward where Katheryne stands to see the second worker standing by the billboard. Head up the stairs and go left to talk to Tac.
Worker #3: Approach Katheryne at the Adventurers’ Guild. Look behind the kiosk to the right to see an alley.
Head straight down that path and talk to Tic. He stands on the other side of the boxes from your approach.
Tic sells you wood, but you don’t have the funds to purchase them. Instead, Tic comes up with a trade.
Give the Qingxin flower to Tic
You quite possibly already have a Qingxin flower in your inventory. If so, talk to Tic again.
If you need a Qingxin flower, teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Qingyun Peak.
Qingxin flowers grow right next to the statue.
Head back and speak to Tic at the Liyue Harbor.
Talk to Childe
Head to the crafting table by the Teleport Waypoint to find Childe standing by the small water fixture.
Finishing this cutscene completes the Downtown subquest.
