Hidden Tears is the eleventh subquest in Prologue: Act 2, For A Tomorrow Without Tears, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Hidden Tears Archon Subquest.
Hidden Tears is unlocked automatically when you finish the previous subquest, State of the Holy Lyre der Himmel. The other two subquests that unlock are Fallen Tears and Stolen Tears.

Mission Description: Find another Dvalin’s Tear to restore power to the Holy Lyre der Himmel
Objectives:
- Go to the ruins in the woods
- Enter the ruins in the woods
- Defeat all the opponents in the ruin
- Obtain Dvalin’s Tear
Starting Location: Angel’s Share Tavern
This quest begins automatically after completing State of the Holy Lyre der Himmel.
Go to the ruins of the woods
This quest asks you to go to the Eagle’s Gate Domain on the southeast corner of Mondstadt.
If you pursue this quest immediately after finishing accompanying subquest, Stolen Tears, then get back north onto the path and follow it east.
If not, teleport to Temple of the Lion. Then, follow the path south and then east, passing through a batch of hilichurls, until you reach Eagle’s Gate.
Enter the ruins in the woods.
As you approach Eagle’s Gate, the objective changes. Enter the domain and choose the first option, Hidden Teardrop in the Heart of the Jungle.
Defeat all the opponents in the ruin
Once inside, run forward and glide across the gap to reach the Door of Resurrection. Be sure to grab the chest to the immediate left of the Door of Resurrection.
Cross the shady-looking bridge, defeat the sole hilichurl, then climb up to the next ledge.
A couple obstacles stand in your way in this next area. On the upper right and upper left are two hilichurls firing ice and fire arrows at you. Run to the right and cross the shallow water path and grab the chest that sits in the water there.
Then take out the two archer hilichurls. When you approach the chest in the center of the area, some Fire Slimes appear. Defeat them to unlock the chest and open the door to the next area.
Before leaving this area, don’t forget to grab the chest on the upper right ledge.
A Large Fire Slime and two hilichurls attack you in this next area. Defeat them to unlock a treasure chest on the left and make a wind gust appear out of the floor on the right side of the area.
Glide on the wind gust and then glide to the rickety wooden fixture on the wall to reach the ledge on the left.
Don’t forget to grab the chest on top of the pillar before the leftmost ledge.
Run into the next area, unlocking another Door of Resurrection on your right, and get on the moving platform at the end of the path.
This platform takes you upward to another moving platform.
Ride the second platform to reach the upper level.
If you wait on the fixed platform on the upper level, other platforms move into your path, making a bridge for you to cross. Cross the new bridge and climb the stairs to unlock another Door of Resurrection on your left.
A door opens, revealing two Large Slimes and an Abyss Mage. Take them out, and a shielded Abyss Mage, named Alberte, attacks you. Defeat it to open the locked door and treasure chest on the right.
Obtain Dvalin’s Tear
Ride the wind gust that appears behind the locked door. The camera turns you around to see a Luxurious Chest sitting in front of a stone fixture. Glide down and open the chest.
A short conversation starts with Jean and Diluc.
The Hidden Tears subquest completes at the end of this conversation.
