Scent on the Wind is unlocked when walking near the food vendor “Sara” near the entrance of Mondstadt, who becomes available during Prologue: Act 1.

Area: Mondstadt

Requirement: Walk near Sara the food vendor in Mondstadt (unlocks in Prologue: Act 1)
Recommended Level: Any, this quest doesn’t have enemies
Reward: 2500 Money, 125 Adventurer XP, 5 Enhancement Ore (gives 400 Weapon XP)
Mission Description: As you walk through Mondstadt, Paimon is attracted by the aroma of food.

Purchase Fisherman’s Toast
After Paimon talks to you to initiate the quest, talk to the food vendor “Sara” in the plaza of Mondstadt. Pick the “Can I get food to-go?” dialogue and then buy the item “Fisherman’s Toast” for 1025 money. Buying a single piece is enough.
Paimon will appear immediately after exiting the vendor menu to tell you how delicious it is.
This finishes the Scent on the Wind side mission in Genshin Impact. A very quick and easy quest indeed.
