Mission Description: Figure out the first clue to finding the mysterious island.
Objectives:
- Go to the agreed location
- Go to the location designated by Mualani
- Try going deeper into the valley
- Follow Mualani and find a way to infiltrate
- Go deeper into the valley
Starting Location: People of the Springs
This quest begins immediately after completing Tribal Quest Someone Trustworthy.
Go to the agreed location
From the Teleport Waypoint northeast of the People of the Springs, look east up the hill to see a stone statue.
Make your way up the hill to find Mualani waiting for you.
She issues a prayer to make the journey smoother.
Go to the location designated by Mualani
Use the Teleport Waypoint south of Teticpac Peak. Then, glide west down to the destination.
Try going deeper into the valley
Follow Mualani south through the group of Koholasaurs. Unfortunately, they notice you right away, and you retreat.
The group brainstorms and comes up with another idea.
Follow Mualani and find a way to infiltrate
Follow Mualani west to the edge of the water. She applies to everyone a flower fragrance, which smells like a Koholasaurus.
Go deeper into the valley
For this next sequence, Mualani does all of the strategic planning for moving through the herd of Koholasaur. Just stay close to her and she gets you through.
There’s even a point where you pass sleeping Koholasaurs. Don’t worry, though: You can practically walk on them, and they don’t awaken. During this sequence, you cannot attack either.
You learn the first clue of the journey. To boot, Mualani even figures out where the next clue is found.
Complete this cutscene to finish the Tribal Quest, Legend of the Mysterious Island.
