Torii Gates are the main safehouse/fast travel locations in Ghostwire Tokyo. These can be cleansed by killing the Visitors in the area and then interacting with the shrine. Cleansing a Torii Gate will unfog the area in the vicinity, which is necessary for opening the map to be able to explore it all. There are 30 Torii Gates in the game, and they must all be cleansed for the Liberator trophy. 1 Torii Gate is unmarked on the map, and this is cleansed during the “Giants” Main Mission. This is needed for the trophy but it does not unfog any of the map.
Many of these you will need to cleanse to progress through the story, but some are optional. You will however need to cleanse them all in order to access all the spirits and other collectibles. Upon cleansing a Torii Gate, you will be able to grab a reward from a stand nearby (typically Prayer Beads), as well as be able to track the Jizo Statues, KK’s Investigation Notes, Magatama, Tanuki and Transferred Spirits for the region.

Is this trophy currently bugged? I have all torii gates on this list cleansed and yet the trophy never popped for me.

It’s not bugged, however I did not have the unmarked torii gate that you cleanse during the main mission “Giants” listed. This one will need to be cleansed for the trophy, you just have to make sure to progress through that mission.

I got the same problem, I have all Gates, finished the Giants Mission and no Throphy 🙁
I have a save right before the last gate but I didn’t work either…

Okay, in the Black Tower Quest you have gone to an Underworld Torii Gate, after I got out the Trophy popped.

The unmarked Torii gates on the map crashes during the “The Black Tower” mission and not during the “Giants” mission.
