There are 4 Crystal Knacks in Knack 2! You unlock them by collecting Crystal Relics from Treasure Chests. The Treasure Chests give a random reward each time. However, there is only 100 items total. If you get all 100 chests you are guaranteed to get every relic at least once and unlock all of the Crystal Knacks.
You also need one of four Crystal Knacks for the “All-New Powers” trophy.
Basic Knack
This is the Knack you have from the beginning of the game. You don’t need to find any chests to unlock this one.
Special Action: When you have Sunstones, a barrier will be formed, protecting you from enemies.
Speedy Knack (Blue, Aqua Relics)
For Speedy Knack you must find 20 Aqua Relics. His color is blue. He’s the fastest of all Knacks, runs and attacks a bit faster than the others. He’s a good pick for time attack challenges.
Special Action: The period of vulnerability after attacking is shorter.
Vampire Knack (Red, Ruby Relics)
Vampire Knack requires 20 Ruby relics from the Treasure Chests. These are relatively common and appear just as often as Aqua relics. He’s good for aggressive players.
Special Action: Can use the Storm Super Move + Teleportation (can teleport to the rear of nearby enemies).
Saber Knack (Yellow, Topaz Relics)
Find 15 Topaz Relics to unlock Saber Knack. He is colored yellow and a has improved attack and defense. He’s a good pick for coliseum challenges but also time trials because he kills enemies very quickly (due to added damage bonus). The topaz relics are rare. He also has faster recovery than other crystal knacks.
Special Action: Relics are returned more quickly after taking damage.
Shooter Knack (Green, Emerald Relics)
And finally, the green colored Shooter Knack made of 15 Emerald relics. He is good at long range combat and countering projectiles. He can also throw relics with the special Relic Shot ability.
Special Action: Parrying unleashes three homing missiles.

I just got Knack 2 and I’m at 6-2 I haven’t got any crystal Knacks yet. But my favorite would be Emerald and Topaz Knack. I’m currently watching your video to find all 100 hidden treasures.

My favourite Knack is probably Sabre Knack. He cuts through enemies so effortlessly, it’s amazing. Then Shooter Knack, because long range is great. Haven’t had much time to try him out though. After that I think is Vampire Knack, teleporting behind enemies is really fun, even if the relic storm is a bit meh. Speedy Knack is my least favourite, but he’s still pretty fun to play as.
