This guide shows Golden Rune Locations in Elden Ring. Golden Runes can be used from the inventory to get a certain amount of runes, essentially the Experience Points (XP) in the game. Runes are used to level up at sites of grace (fast travel points). There are different tiers of Golden Runes, the higher their tier the more runes they award when used from inventory.

Golden Rune [1]
- Found in Skulls laying on the ground all over Limgrave. To get them from the skull simply strike the skull and destroy it so you can pick up the runes.
- Stormhill – Once you enter Stormhill from Gatefront head to the right into the open field and continue traveling East until you pass the ruins and find a series of tombs lined in three rows. Along the tops of these tombs are items, you will find one of these on a tomb here.
- Limgrave: Agheel Lake South – From the Site of Grace head South on the main road and when you get to the heavily armored bridge take a left and follow the base of the cliffside all the way around into the opening on the other side. Once in the opening look for the tombs lined up in the field that are surrounded by wolves. These can be found on random tombs.
Golden Rune [2]
Use to gain a small number of souls (400)
- Limgrave: Church of Elleh – From the Site of Grace at the Church of Elleh go out the Eastern doorway and this item is at the bottom of the pole to your left.
- Stormhill – Once you enter Stormhill from Gatefront head to the right into the open field and continue traveling East until you pass the ruins and find a series of tombs lined in three rows. Along the tops of these tombs are items, you will find one of these on a tomb here.

- Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow: Lenne’s Rise – From the Site of Grace look at the building ahead of you and you will see a jump vortex for for your horse to jump on. Jump up and you will be at another tomb site. This is one of the items on the tombs.

Use to gain a small number of souls (1,600)
- Stormhill – Once you enter Stormhill from Gatefront head to the right into the open field and continue traveling East until you pass the ruins and find a series of tombs lined in three rows. Along the tops of these tombs are items, you will find one of these on a tomb here.
- Stormveil Castle: Gateside Chamber – In the room of the Site of Grace on a dead body.

Use to gain a small number of souls (2,000)
- Limgrave: Mistwood Outskirts – Directly north of the site of grace, go up the stone structure to the upper cliff and you will see a set of tombs with items scattered all around the tops. This is collected from on top of one of the tombs.
- Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow: Lenne’s Rise – From the Site of Grace look at the building ahead of you and you will see a jump vortex for for your horse to jump on. Jump up and you will be at another tomb site. This is one of the items on the tombs.
