Item Description: Core of a creature of mimicry known as a silver tear. As much a substance as it is a living organism. Material required by the amber egg cradled by Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, to birth people anew. Being born anew allows the reallocation of attributes boosted by leveling up.
Locations:
- Liurnia of the Lakes: Village of the Albinaruics – Just to the east of the side of grace, beside the stone coffins where all the enemies are.
- Liurnia of the Lakes: Caria Manor, Royal Moongazing Grounds – after defeating Royal Knight Loretta, head out to the open area and go left to where a dragon boss is. Instead of engaging the boss, head left of where it walks and drop down the cliffs to a rooftop. There’s a ladder on the rooftop leading down into the building. This will actually bring you to the balcony above the “Manor Lower Level” site of grace. There’s a figure in black robes crawling on the floor, called Pidia the Carian Servant, talk to it twice and you can trade with it to buy this for 3000 runes.
- Nokron, Eternal City – x2 Mimic Tears dropped by the boss “Mimic Tear”. This location only opens up after defeating Shardbearer Radahn, entered through the hole with the rocks flying about it to the north-west of Fort Haight West.
