Black Light Burns is the 33rd main story quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Black Light Burns main scenario chapter.

- Quest Info: The taint of Empress Anabella’s cruelty spreads without cease across the land Clive and Jill once called home, but there are those who would stand against the dark tide. Those such as the Guardians of the Flame.
Objectives:
- Find an entrance to the Lazarus District
- Enter the Lazarus District
- Defeat the bandits
- Speak with Wade
- Confront the Black Shields’ main host
- Return to the hideaway
Find an entrance to the Lazarus District
This main quest starts immediately after the prior one, still at Port Isolde in Rosaria. Head back along the path towards the gate of the Lazarus District and head through.
Enter the Lazarus District
Follow the linear path further into the area for a scene.
Defeat the bandits
After the scene a number of enemies enter the area, take them out to continue.
Speak with Wade
After the battle and resulting scene, head back near the entrance to speak with Wade again.
Confront the Black Shields’ main host
Wade now joins your party temporarily, and your start a subquest for the next objective.
Subquest:
Return to the hideaway
After completing the subquest there will be a few cutscenes, then you will automatically be back on the world map. Travel back to the Hideaway to proceed to the next main quest.
