Like Father, Like Daughter is the 59th main story quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI), and a subquest of A Song of Hope. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Like Father, Like Daughter main scenario chapter.

- Requirement: Occurs during A Song of Hope

- Quest Info: According to Otto, those personal effects Cid salvaged from the old hideaway are kept in Mid’s dungeon. If anything remains that might be of use, it will be there.
Following clues left in a cryptic message from Cid to his daughter, Clive discovers a mysterious item hidden with the Tub & Crown’s orchestrion. “Final piece” in hand, he sets of on the return journey to Kanver.
Objectives:
- Search Mid’s dungeon 0/2
- Continue searching Mid’s Dungeon
- Speak with Otto
- Inspect the orchestrion
Search Mid’s dungeon 0/2
Otto suggests checking in Mid’s dungeon. Head over where there will be two points marked near the shelves that you need to interact with.
Continue searching Mid’s Dungeon
After searching the first two spots, you can then interact with the small white object on the leftmost shelf.
Speak with Otto
You automatically receive the letter “A Riddle”. Head back over and speak with Otto for further info.
Inspect the orchestrion
Otto suggests checking the orchestion, head over into The Ale Hall where it is located. After the scene with the two kids, interact with the front of it to complete the subquest.
