Guacamelee 2 – All Area Maps 100% Completion

August 21, 2018 by PowerPyx 10 Comments

Guacamelee 2 has 11 World Maps (Regions / Areas). Each of them contains collectibles (chests) which you need to reach 100% completion. Getting 100% game completion in all areas unlocks the trophy “Mr. Worldwide”.

The map images are of 100% completion, meaning the whole map has been uncovered and everything collected. This will help you navigate the world and find hidden entrances and collectibles. Do note that on the maps below the collectibles have already been collected. They get marked on your map automatically when you are nearby. Simply explore the full map (or at least enter each segment of it) and the collectibles will be marked automatically for you.

The collectibles aren’t really hidden but getting them sometimes might be a little bit tricky because of hard platforming sections. If you can’t figure out how to get to a collectible you’re likely missing a power. The luchador powers are all automatic story unlocks. The pollo (chicken) powers are from chicken dungeons, some of these are optional but necessary for collectibles. Explore carefully and clean up everything after the story. You can also fast travel between areas by talking to the giant stone heads. If you want to make things really easy, go get all Key Locations first and you’ll unlock infinite Pollo Shot as a reward. It allows you to traverse any environment by flying up and down over long distances.

He will say something like I bet you don’t know how to upper cut and there’s a punching bag behind you and you just gotta do the move on it to make progress

He’ll talk about a move that he says you can’t do and you gotta prove him wrong with the red punching bag in the room

Hmm. I’m missing another one in Villachula. I think it’s the door on the left that leads to a room that’s even farther to the left on the map. I can’t find the door- it seems to be in a spot way up in the sky that I can’t get to.

Do you have Pollo Fans ability yet? The one that unlocks fans on the floor to make the chicken fly high up in the air. You get it from pollo challenge dungeons (be sure to do all of those first before the collectible hunt, they are needed to reach many collectibles). That’s how you get to one of the collectibles in a building at the top.

I have scoured all of the prison and it’s still showing me at only 57%. My map looks exactly like the one pictured above, and there are no chests anywhere. I couldn’t find anything about known bugs like this. Any clues?

Have you gotten all the keys yet? Once you do, you have to open the golden door in chicken illuminati headquarters. That area doesn’t have a map unfortunately, but there’s at least 1 chest in there. I don’t recall exactly for how much completion the chicken illuminati crucible accounted for… though I bet that’s what’s missing.

That was it. Right after you enter the crucible, there is a line of chests floating that you have to fly through. That accounted for 43% of the prison’s collectibles. Thanks!

This is so aggravating, i’m stuck at 99% completion even though every area on the world map says i have completed 100% of it. Have i missed some random treasure chest in one of the areas without a map? Guess i’m gonna have to go through them with a fine tooth comb…
