Hogwarts Legacy All Butterfly Locations

Hogwarts Legacy has 15 Butterfly Locations. Finding and following all of Butterflies will unlock Collection Items so these are required for the 100% Collection Completion. You can start getting them at any point while Free Roaming, however one location is locked behind the Side Quest ‘Follow the Butterflies’ which becomes available after the Main Quest ‘Potions Class’.

Unlike other Collectibles the Butterflies are not marked on the game map. They only appear on the HUD Minimap when you get close to them but they don’t stay marked afterward. Follow the Butterfly swarm until they stop at one spot and then cast Revelio to reveal a chest, open it to complete that Butterfly Location. There also isn’t a tracking system to see which ones you have left or which you have done, however the butterflies do not respawn once you have collected their chest.
