Hogwarts Legacy Potions Class Walkthrough

Potions Class is the thirteenth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Potions Class Main Mission.

Requirement: having completed Herbology Class, Level 4
Reward: 260 XP, Potions Station
Quest Info: I attended Potions class with Professor Sharp and used ingredients to brew an Edurus Potion.

Objectives:

Attend Potions Class
Collect Dark Mongrel Fur, Ashwinder Eggs, and Fwooper Feather for Garreth
Return to Garreth with the Fwooper Feather
Brew an Edurus Potion
Return to Professor Sharp

Starting Location: Potions Class

Professor Fig needs time to study the book. Meanwhile, we can continue our wanderings through the castle and attend our first Potions class.

Attend Potions Class

Press to activate your Charmed Compass. This will reveal a golden wisp trail that you can follow to your destination. Once reached, press when inside the glowing circle to initiate the quest. During the class, turn the right stick to crush the ingredients, then to add a pinch of dittany and Horklump juice. As a last step, turn the right stick to stir the cauldron mix.

Collect Dark Mongrel Fur, Ashwinder Eggs, and Fwooper Feather for Garreth

Head over to purple area in the Minimap. On the way, you’ll meet Garreth Weasley, a Gryffindor student. He asks you to grab a Fwooper feather. Choose whichever dialogue option you’d like and continue into the room to collect the Dark Mongrel Fur, the Ashwinder Eggs and the Fwooper Feather for Garreth.

Return to Garreth with the Fwooper Feather

Return to Garreth to give him the Fwooper Feather.

Brew an Edurus Potion

Now head over the station opposite Garreth and interact with it to start brewing. As a general rule, you can brew potions only after unlocking their related recipe. Now hover over the second tile and to select the Edurus Potion and brew it.
