Hogwarts Legacy All Enemies Locations

Hogwarts Legacy has 69 Enemies required to complete the Collections Menu. This guide shows all Enemy Locations and lists them in the same order as the in-game menu. Finding all enemies is needed for The Collector’s Edition trophy & achievement to complete all Collections.

Enemies get added to the Collection Menu when encountering them in combat for the first time. You don’t even have to defeat them. Just being near them is enough.

The majority of enemies will come automatically from the story and side quests. The rest are mostly the Infamous Foes, which are a type of collectible of their own, you can see a collectible counter for them when fully zooming out on the map and hovering over regions. It’s best to focus on the main quests first, then do all side quests because some enemies are not available outside of quests, then do the Infamous Foes (marked on map by white skull icon), then refer to the list below to figure out what you are missing. Many of these enemies are also found in Battle Arenas, Bandit Camps, Spider Nests & Troll Lairs (all marked on map). Clearing all of these will quickly get you many of the enemies. Then a few are found roaming in the open world which are slightly random spawns but are always in the same regions.

There are two enemy lists here. First, the complete Collection list in same order as in-game menu, use this to compare against your in-game list. Second, the list of enemies required for Finishing Touches trophy & achievement for using Ancient Magic on all enemies (only 34 specific enemies of 69 total count for it).

33. Grodbik – Infamous Foe target in Marunweem Lake region, inside “The Coastal Mine”. You go there for the first time during Main Quest #42: Lodgok’s Loyalty, can return anytime afterward. Inside this dungeon you must activate a furnace with Incendio to activate a platform that leads to the lower floor. You will see the foe icon on the minimap as you go through The Coastal Mine. It’s not marked with a skull icon on the world map because it’s inside a dungeon (only shows up on the minimap when inside the dungeon).

This is known to bug out for many players and disappears from the enemies list but this doesn’t impact the Collector’s Edition trophy.
69. Fastidios Monster – from PlayStation Exclusive Side Quest: Minding Your Own Business. Only available on PlayStation, not on other platforms. Not needed for “Collector’s Edition” trophy / achievement. This is known to bug out for many players and disappears from the enemies list but this doesn’t impact the Collector’s Edition trophy.
70. (Mongrel – found randomly in Forbidden Forest – not listed under Enemy Collections but it’s a different version of Mongrel that’s needed for Finishing Touches trophy / achievement to use Ancient Magic on all enemies)

Enemies Needed for Finishing Touches Trophy & Achievement

For the “Finishing Touches” trophy & achievement you must use Ancient Magic on only 34 specific enemies. It only requires unmissable enemies that are found in the open world, not any of the infamous foes or unique story-specific enemies. All of these still spawn after the story. The other enemies do not count, only those specific 34 (checked PS5 trophy tracker after each to confirm). Use Ancient Magic on each of these with + / + , which is unlocked after Main Quest #7: Welcome to Hogsmeade.
