Hogwarts Legacy has 3 Battle Arena Locations. Finding and winning in the 2 regular Battle Arenas unlocks the Rise to the Challenges trophy or achievement. The Dark Arts Battle arena is a Pre-Order DLC Bonus and is not needed for trophies & achievements.
You can visit the Battle Arenas at any time. They are still open after the story, so can’t be missed.
When arriving at an Arena you must first destroy vases. Use Revelio Spell (D-Pad Left) to mark the vases blue. Then shoot your basic magic at them. The vases are all in close proximity to the arena entrance. When they are destroyed the arena opens up. You will have to fight waves of enemies. If you have trouble with this, you can change to Story Difficulty in the game settings.
Battle Arenas are also a great way to farm XP quickly. They can be repeated as often as you like.
North Ford Bog Battle Arena
This is located in the east of North Ford Bog region. This is the first of two arenas for Rise to the Challenges trophy.
Feldcroft Battle Arena
This is located in the southeast of Feldcroft region. This is the second and last arena for Rise to the Challenges trophy.
Dark Arts Battle Arena (Pre-Order DLC)
The Dark Arts Battle Arena is only available for owners of the Pre-Order DLC “Dark Arts Pack”. It is not needed for the trophy/achievement. In this arena you start out with all 3 Unforgivable Curses unlocked. It’s located in Forbidden Forest.
That’s all 3 Battle Arenas in Hogwarts Legacy. After fighting in the two regular ones you will earn the Rise to the Challenges trophy or achievement.

This trophy is bugged .. First, the completion mark doesn’t show for either battle arena when completed. Also, I did not get the trophy as it did not count .e completing the feldcroft battle arena.. I already did it twice . 🙁
It’s also bugged as I got the trophy on completion for both, but I never was rewarded one of the outfits. The Thief’s Coat. I got the Ashwinders outfit, but never got the thief’s coat. So it’s no use going after the platinum on so bugged a game. I am almost finished, but I will never get 100% completion because Avalanche is such a crappy company that can’t fix their game before release.
You can repeat the North Ford Bog and get the Thief’s Coat and the achievement.
I’m on PS5…I got the Level 40 trophy even though my character is only at 39 with 99% completion although I’ve done everything. I also completed all Bell Tower pages but it only credits me with the total -1 (don’t have the game open now). Needless to say I think it’s bugs unfortunately…and not those cursed spiders. I also can’t get credit or XP for (easily) beating the Feldcroft Battle Arena
Did both got both clothing items, only the northern one marks as complete did the southern one 3xs still showing incomplete no achievement. Really love the game but this is becoming the norm with a lot of stuff in here not a 100% but pretty annoying when this type of thing just constantly seems to be an issue.
