Kingdom Come Deliverance: Stephanie Romance Guide

You can romance & court a woman called Lady Stephanie in Kingdom Come Deliverance (KCD). She is the wife of the ruler of Talmberg.

The earliest chance for this is after reaching Main Quest “Awakening” in Rattay.

Note: You cannot do this during your first story-related visit to Talmberg! When you meet Stephanie for the first time (story-related) it doesn’t matter what you say to her. After reaching Rattay you can return to her at any point later in the game.

Stephanie Romance

1. After the story brings you to Rattay, you can go back to Talmberg. Lady Stephanie is found on the upper floor of the Talmberg Castle. If she’s not there advance time a few hours.
2. Talk to Stephanie. She will give you a quest “At Your Service, My Lady”. Simply put, you must complete this quest but I will explain it in a bit more detail below. You need to get her Wine (A), a Crown (B), a Horse (C). The quest markers are on your map of course.
   1. Head to Rattay. Talk to the Wine Merchant. He tells you he’s out of wine but some can be won from the Archery Contest. You now have 3 options: Win the Contest (create a save game beforehand so you can retry), talk to the winner afterwards and convince them to give you the bottle for free (requires high speech skill, I had speech level 8), or buy the Wine from the winner for 200 coins.
   2. In Sasau you need to pick up a crown. Sadly, the merchant who was supposed to deliver the jewel never arrived. You can either investigate (the hard option), or simply tell the guy to switch out the Jewel and advance time until he has done it (the far easier and quicker option). If you let him replace it, Lady Stephanie will make a comment about it when you return but you will get to court her either way, so your choice here does not matter.
   3. In Uzhitz you can get the horse. You must talk to the stable guy who takes care of the horse. He tells you that singing to the horse calms it down, otherwise it throws people off. Ride it back to Talmberg.
3. With all quest parts done, talk to Stephanie again.
4. She will offer you a shirt. To court her YOU MUST ACCEPT THE SHIRT! Choose dialogue “Alright” to put it on. Then enjoy the resulting cutscene that culminates this romance.

Be aware this voids the trophy “Virgin”. If you don’t want to miss out on this trophy reload an older save game afterwards.
