Mafia The Old Country has 50 Mystery Fox Locations. Finding all Mystery Foxes unlocks the Mystery Fox Domination trophy & achievement and is also needed for The Collector trophy & achievement to complete the Collection. This guide shows all their locations.
None of the Collectibles in Mafia The Old Country are missable. Everything can still be found after the story through Chapter Replay and Free Roam. Mystery Foxes look like small fox statues and will shimmer when going near them. Unlike other Collectibles, they don’t get marked on the map until you find them. The foxes you have collected will get marked on the map with a white icon, allowing you to compare what you already found. This guide lists them in the order they are closest together. The foxes that can be found in either Story or Free Roam will be listed under Free Roam. All Collectibles are saved instantly. On chapter replays you can quit to the Main Menu without reaching the next Checkpoint and there’s no need to find them again if you die. Everything carries over between Story Mode and Free Roam mode.
10 Mystery Fox Statues can only be found in the Story. The remaining 40 are found in Free Roam (Free Ride). You can access Free Roam from Title Screen > Carcyclopedia > Drive (unlocked during third story chapter). Bug Warning: there are some reports that trying to buy the fox in Pasquale’s Store while having less than 5000 money can bug it out but this seems to be a rare and doesn’t affect everyone (Fox #50). It’s best not to interact with this fox until having 5000 money.

Mystery Foxes in Story
Mystery Fox #1
Chapter 3: Pizzu / Objective: Find the whiskey – At Porto Almaro, during the stealth section in the yard where you have to search crates for the story. It’s in the back left corner of the yard (south-east corner).
Mystery Fox #2
Chapter 4: Il Barone / Objective: Find Gennaro – After the car/horse chase, you will be in an enemy camp. Halfway through the camp you go through a cave. Immediately after exiting the cave, on the next path there’s a side platform on the right with this fox.
Mystery Fox #3
Chapter 5: Vendetta D’Onore / Objective: Kill Ludovici’s guards – After entering the villa and getting the cutscene with Ludovici, you will spawn on the villa balcony and the guards will be shooting at you from below. Turn around and enter Ludovici’s room where the previous cutscene took place, the fox will sit in the corner by the fireplace.

Chapter 6: La Difesa Siciliana / Objective: Find the printing plates – After freeing the counterfeiter from the prison cell, you have a stealth section where you must sneak through the town hall. Go upstairs, turn right, follow the corridor to the end and go through the door to an office where you find the fox.

Chapter 7: Spirito Sportivo / Objective: Sneak past the Marquis’ guards – At the start of the Bordello area, sneak through the courtyard past the guards and go up the staircase in the back right corner (main objective). Up this staircase will be a prostitute in blue dress, to her left is a bench and some plants. The fox sits in the dark corner by the bench in between the plants, hard to see as it’s very dark and blends in with the environment.

Chapter 9: Industria / Objective: Find a way into the foreman’s office – During the stealth section when you have to sneak through the factory, proceed until you go inside the first factory building. Take the first exit on the left to an open yard with two enemies. In this yard on the left side you’ll find it sitting in an open crate.

Chapter 11: Mattanza / Objective: Escort Don Torrisi – After arriving at the Tuna factory, it’ll be in the room with the first combat encounter of this chapter, upstairs at a window.
Mystery Fox #8
Chapter 12: La Forza Del Destino / Objective: Get to the Royal Box – After going through the catacombs with the priest, and after the first combat encounter of this chapter and climbing up a ladder through a manhole cover to enter the opera. In the room where you spawn, push the cart (mandatory for story), then the next room you enter is the dressing room, there you find the fox in the corner. (no in-game map available for this area)

Chapter 12: La Forza Del Destino / Objective: Get to the Royal Box – Immediately after the previous fox in the next room, the backstage area where you must sneak past guards. Sneak along the left side until you reach a ladder where the yellow objective marker is. Before climbing up the ladder, turn right and you’ll see a big blue stage curtain. Climb up the wooden path in front of the blue curtain, there you find an open chest with the fox inside. (no in-game map available for this area)

Chapter 12: La Forza Del Destino / Objective: Get to the Royal Box – After sneaking through a corridor with red wallpaper you will open a door and be at the top of a staircase that’s decorated with white flowers. Three enemies will stand and talk at the bottom of the staircase. Wait for them to finish talking, then two of them walk away. Choke out the one who stays behind, then to the left of the stairs is the fox, before going through the door with the yellow objective marker. (no in-game map available for this area)

On the lighthouse in the south, from the main road can climb over the fence to reach it.

From the courtyard of a church can go down small stairs to find it on a balcony overlooking Porto Almaro. You reach this area by taking the road east of the fox and interacting with the two gates on the path. The gates are closed when you first go there but you can open them.

Slightly north of Pasquale’s Gas Station fast travel point, on the roof of a house. Go up the stairs around the house to go upstairs.

Bought from Pasquale’s Store for 5000 money. You can quickly farm money by loading up Chapter 7, in the room where the chapter starts open the two blue chests, restart checkpoint, repeat. The money remains when restarting checkpoints and carries over into free roam.
Reward for All Mystery Foxes
You can visit Enzo’s Apartment in Free Roam, in his room pick up the fox statue. It spawns after having found all 50 foxes. Upon interacting with it you will unlock the secret outfit “Baskerville“.

I collected every fox but the count remained 49/50. I think the paid fox was bugged because I hadn’t the correct money when I interacted with it at the shop. On the map it’s shown collected but not counted. At last in my room I touched the fox and gave nothing

I collected every fox, but the counter still showed 49 of 50. I tried verifying game files but there’s no work around.

I tested this on a new save and not able to replicate the bug. Must be a rare bug or players are missing another fox.
I went to Pasquale’s Store, didn’t have $5k, the fox can’t be interacted with at all and is simply grayed out and remains standing in the store. I backed out to main menu, went back and it’s still there (fox in store with grayed out interaction icon).
Double-check all your fox icons on the map that you really got all of them. It might just be another fox that’s missing.

I think I know the fox thats everyone is missing, it happen to me too where I was stuck at 49 out of 50. Took me a few extra hours to track it down but I believe its the fox in chapter 9 in the wooden crate, I didn’t see it when I was going over all the spots which the pictures but I did see it when I watch the video so there’s no bugs or anything. Just a simple over look. Thanks

Got into the same bug with 49/50, buying the fox for less money. But the trophy still popped up, bot for foxes and afterwards, when i finished newspapers, the collection trophy.
You can give it a try.

This 49/50 has just happened to me also after following this guide. Paid 5k for the foxes statue when I was on 48/50. Wasn’t greyed out. Now on 49/50 and no other foxes to get.

The fox that you buy at Pasqaule’s store bugged for me only when I interacted with it in chapter select. It was collected and did count when it displays the counter in the UI. It does not count in the map screens counter however. Noticed the discrepancy later on when collecting more.
Haven’t finished my collectibles run but I’m sure its fine.
