Video Walkthrough
Starting Location: The Value of Perfection
After reaching Main Region 2: Heian (after main boss “Great Tengu”), return to the Eternal Rift and speak to Matsunaga at the Teahouse. The first time you do this the Myth will automatically start. Talk to him again to continue the Myth.
Deliver the pottery to Matsunaga Hisahide
What makes this myth tricky is that the exact item location isn’t marked on the map. You can find various tea bowls throughout Heian, as loot from golden glowing bodies. However, the quest giver will only accept one specific one as the “correct” Tea Bowl. Giving him the wrong tea bowls won’t complete the quest.
Luckily, the correct tea bowl is in a fixed location and you’ll always find it in the same spot.
Tea Bowl Pottery Location:
Go to Heian > Nishiichi region. At the east exit of the area, loot the corpse next to the bridge, behind some boxes. This gives the Gorgeous Celadon Tea Bowl.
Now return to the Eternal Rift (press
on map) and give it to the man at the teahouse.
This finishes The Value of Perfection Myth in Nioh 3.
