Chapter 5: Down in a Hole
At the start of the chapter you will be hanging from a rope and are bound to your partner. Swing back and forth by tilting the left stick and press 
/ 
until the rope drops down to the floor.
Walk forward and jump over the platforms in the road. Be mindful of the distance to your partner, you need to stay close together to not pull each other down the abyss.
Interact with all the street lamps to turn them on. You will get a short scene where a monster climbs up a wall.
In the next section you must go across a broken path while staying close to your partner to not fall down, since you’re still roped together. One must take the left path and one must take the right path.
If you’re in singleplayer the partner will automatically stand in the right spots and you just need to move to the right spots yourself to make the partner move further.
- Left path: move straight till the left turn but stop before the turn. Right path: Go forward, jump over the gap when your partner stands near you, take a left turn and stay still at the end of the little side path that goes to the middle of the area.
- Left path: the partner on the left path can now move forward without falling down (partner on right path must stay still in the center).
- Left path + right path: both partners can move forward simultaneously now, partner on left path must jump over a gap while partner on right keeps pace.
After you cross over to the safe side, go forward until you a meet a friendly NPC. After a moment he puts down a wooden plank for you to cross over the gap.
- Trophy “Creature Comforts”
A pig will run across the screen. Follow the pig to the left and press to interact with it to pop the trophy.
- Poster 12 (Secret 28)
Right after the previous trophy, you will get chased by a big spider enemy. In the next room after you escape from the spider, go to the right and pry open the wardrobe. Then interact with the wardrobe ( ) to squeeze through a hidden gap. This leads to a secret room with the poster.
- Rest Your Legs 10
Return to the previous room and sit on either the chair in the middle or the couch on the left side. If you got all Rest Your Leg opportunities till now, you will unlock the trophy here and don’t need to interact with any seating opportunities going forward. If you missed any, there will be more opportunities throughout the rest of the game and you can still earn the trophy.
- Trophy “Lullabye”
Exit the previous room, you will come to a corridor with a small piano on the left side before the stairs. Interact with the piano 3 times in a row to pop the trophy.
- Poster 13 (Secret 29)
From the piano go upstairs, enter the door on the left to reach a balcony with the poster.
Go back inside and hoist your partner up the stairs. At the top of the stairs exit through the door to reach a balcony.
If you forget a “Rest Your Legs” opportunity, there is one more seating opportunity here on the balcony.
At the end of the balcony take a right turn, walk over the thin pipe, jump left to the roof, go left and interact with the window to climb into a building.
About halfway through the room on the right side you find a key in front of a couch. When you pick it up, an enemy will attack you. Defeat him and use the key on the hatch in the floor.
You fall into a potato storage cellar. Interact with your partner to pull her out of the potatoes.
The big spider appears. Sneak behind the first crates and wait for the spider to turn its head left. Then crouch silently to the next wooden box. When the spider turns its head back to the middle, crouch all the way left. When you get close to the hole in the wall start running, the spider will always spot you here and will start chasing you.
Run over the roof, knock down a pipe and walk over it, then keep running until you enter a boss fight with the spider and other smaller enemies around.
- Trophy “Shot Through the Heart”
Later in the chapter, you sneak away from the spider, then get chased by the spider, then you fight the spider by throwing spears at it. During the spider boss fight, kids will appear and throw spears at you. Defeat 10 of the kid enemies by throwing spears back at them. DON’T throw spears at the spider until you got this trophy. If you defeat the spider the other enemies stop spawning, but you can quickly “restart checkpoint” if you miss the trophy to retry the fight from the start. Each time the spider disappears there will be 2-3 kids throwing spears at you, pick up one spear, then after the spider disappears use that spear to immediately throw it at the next group of kid enemies. Rinse and repeat 10 times. You will only have enough time to throw 1 spear per round. The spider can only spawn from 2 spots: if it spawns from the front center, stay on the far left & if it spawns from the left stay on the far right. Then it can’t hit you.
After defeating the spider you must follow it into its cave and climb in its mouth.
You will spawn outside and there are soldiers at military trucks. Hide behind the crates until the soldiers go away, then interact with the back of the right truck. Wait while the truck drives you around. When the truck crashes, the next chapter starts.
