For platinum we need to find a few types of collectibles: 36 different Talismans, 21 different Periapts, learn 120 Miracles, find 200 Miman, 19 different Demon Statues, 24 Abscesses, 50 Amalgams, acquired relics from relic spots 400 times, examined Search Points 100 times, 100% complete Demon Compendium. The collectibles get marked on the map so should be quick and easy to locate everything.
We also need to do all 6 endings (so 6 playthroughs required) and complete at least 90 subquests, and do all virtual trainer battle sequences in Challenge Mode. It sounds like near 100% completion is required.

This will be a challenge. Not a unwelcome one and it is probably going to be over 100 hrs at least with all these endings.

For Switch players of the original, how many hours are we talking here for plat?

if vengeance route is approximately the same as the creation route it’ll take around 50-60 for a full run, then starting NG+ for the 100% compendium and the rest of the endings for that specific route, might take around 80-90 hours total per route.. (although vengeance route seems more cutscene heavy, dunno if it’ll affect it much)

The use of the word ‘merciless’ seems intentional. Anyone know if this means a Merciless Difficulty playthrough is required?

I could tell it is a hard list, defeat Ishtar without destroying any systems? 100% compendium? Mutiple endings?And those new content? Man, I guess it would take me more than 200 hrs and at least 3 playthroughs.
