SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake – Wild West Jellyfish Fields Collectible Locations

January 30, 2023 by FranciRoosters 2 Comments

Wild West Jellyfish Fields in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake contains 18 Collectible Locations. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included in this guide. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

  • 11 Coins
  • 5 Refreshments
  • 1 Spot Location
  • 1 Golden Spatula

For other levels refer to SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake – Collectible Guide.

Available during first Playthrough

Coin 1 (Riding School checkpoint): shortly after learning the bubbling ability, you will reach a farm. Climb the farm using the jumping pads and follow the path to the rooftop to find it at the very top.

Golden Spatula (Riding School checkpoint): face the farm, then look to your right and you’ll find it on a platform with a stack of three tiki heads. If you need a better place to spot it, climb the farm.

Coin 2 (Riding School checkpoint): during the first seahorse riding section, you’ll have to boost past two trains. Immediately after the second train, hold the left stick right and you’ll get to a side path with the coin.

Coin 3 (Manta Fe checkpoint): after riding the seahorse, you will have to jump on a big lifebuoy to reach a small town. As soon as you reach it, head left and jump on the lifebuoy to reach the rooftops. Press the switch behind the first stack of tiki heads, then continue along the rooftops until you reach the main building. Destroy the tiki heads here as well and press the second switch. Continue on along the last set of rooftops to find a third and final set of tiki heads as well as a switch to press. Pressing all three switches will spawn three blue star platforms you can use to reach the coin.

Coin 4 (Manta Fe checkpoint): from the way you came into town, go all the way to the back left end to find a shooting gallery. Press the switch to start the shooting gallery challenge. To win the coin, you need to shoot a bubble at the target. Each time you shoot a set, new targets will appear. Rinse and repeat and remember to avoid the horses.

Spot Location: (Canteen Hills checkpoint): when you get to Canteen Hills, dismount the seahorse and look to your left for a question mark signpost diagonally opposite the big barrel. Face the signpost and look up to see a ledge with two stacked tikis. On this ledge is Spot. If you struggle to find this, the second screenshot below shows the view from the ledge where Spot is.

Available only in second Playthrough

Refreshment 1 (Jellyfish Trail checkpoint): shortly after the beginning of the level, you’ll get to a point with a set of blue tikis leading towards a waterfall. On the last tiki head is this refreshment.

Coin 5 (Jellyfish Trail checkpoint): continue on the main path until you get to an area with a jumping pad side path on the right. On the last platform, press the purple switch and karate kid your way through the rings of fire. Defeat the enemies at the end and you’ll be teleported back to the switch where the coin awaits you.

Refreshment 2 (Riding School checkpoint): when you get to the farm, climb the roof and you’ll find this refreshment above the anchor.

Coin 6 (Riding School checkpoint): as soon as you get to the farm, check the left side for a hoverboard switch. Press the switch and surf your away through the rings of fire to unlock this coin.

Coin 7 (Manta Fe checkpoint): when you get to the town, head to the leftmost back end and interact with the sling to be shot into a cemetery. Here, rescue and talk to the NPC at the top of the hill to start a countdown. Kill all enemies before the time is up to spawn the coin at the top of the hill.

Refreshment 3 (Manta Fe checkpoint): on the side of the hill, behind the topmost grave.

Refreshment 4 (Canteen Hills checkpoint): before riding the third seahorse, check the wooden path you came in from with the second seahorse for a wooden platform leaning out to the right. Then, look down to find a path of blue tiki heads leading to the refreshment.

Coin 8 (Canteen Hills checkpoint): keep going down to reach a sling. Use it to land on an island with some enemies awaiting you. Kill all enemies and then grab the coin.

Coin 9 (Sap the Gatherer checkpoint): after riding the seahorse a third time, you’ll eventually get to a fork. On your right there will be some blue tikis, on your left a purple switch. Press the switch and ride the hoverboards back to the switch to find the coin.

Refreshment 5 (Sap the Gatherer checkpoint): proceed to the very top where the last cactus is. Left of the cactus, on a pillar, is this refreshment.

Coin 10 (Sap the Gatherer checkpoint): shortly before the very last cactus is a red switch you can press. This will spawn some blue star platforms. At the top is the coin.

Coin 11 (Bullworm Mine checkpoint): inside the cave, drop down into the arena. Press the switch and kill all enemies before the countdown ends to spawn the coin.

That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Wild West Jellyfish Fields in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.
