Available during first Playthrough

Spot Location (Backlot checkpoint): soon enough in the level you’ll get to an area with a blue truck on your left, a building on the right and an inflatable pad connecting the both. Atop the building is Spot.

Coin 1 (Backlot checkpoint): during the side-scrolling section, shortly after the NPC says “action faster”. To get it, you’ll have to climb on a wall.

Golden Spatula (Back Alley checkpoint): after learning karate kick, inside the blue truck.

Coin 2 (Parking Lot checkpoint): much later in the level, after the slow-mo press section, you’ll get to a parking lot. Here use the lampposts to get over the fence and reach the coin.

Coin 3 (Dojo Estate checkpoint): during mission objective Reach the Dojo rooftop, check the left side of the dojo entrance to find some destructible tikis next to some blue ones. Don’t destroy the tiki, instead use them to reach the blue ones and make it to the other side with the water. Now make your way forward using the karate balloons and you’ll find this coin in mid-air at the end of the path.

Available only in second Playthrough

Coin 4 (Movie Hallway checkpoint): walk along the red carpet hallways until you get to a hook switch. Press it and jump on the pad to reach the hooks. Swing across the halls to get to a platform. Once you reach the platform in time, you’ll be teleported back to the switch where you can collect the coin.

Coin 5 (Movie Hallway checkpoint): next to the switch is a karate kick balloon. Blow it up and then trigger the explosive tiki to blow up the wall. Get inside and platform your way through the tunnel to find the coin.

Fortune Cookie 1 (Movie Hallway checkpoint): after exiting the red carpet hallway, climb on the first trailer on the left, then turn around to find it on a ledge behind you.

Fortune Cookie 2 (Backlot checkpoint): a bit after, you’ll get into an area with an inflatable pad in the middle. Go past it, towards the left back end and you’ll find it on a table. This is in the same area as where Spot was before.

Fortune Cookie 3 (Backlot checkpoint): during the first side-scrolling section, on a box.

Fortune Cookie 4 (Back Alley checkpoint): after the first side-scrolling section, inside a glowing dumpster.

Coin 6 (Back Alley checkpoint): shortly after, you’ll get to a rooftop with a sling. Use it and make your way to a second sling leading you to the coin.

Coin 7 (Back Alley checkpoint): shortly after the sling section, you’ll have to use karate kick to make your way up some balloons, then some red planks. When you get to the red planks section, look down to find another sling. Get to it and use it to land on a platform with the coin.

Fortune Cookie 5 (Paparazzi Street checkpoint): right before the security guy, on a small table, hard to miss.

Coin 8 (First Nautical Bank checkpoint): continue past the security guard until you get to a construction yard looking are with two massive holes on the ground. Use the sling in one of these holes to reach a platform which will eventually lead you to a Reef Blower. Suck the enemies that spawn and shoot them at the purple goo on the other side. Repeat the same for the next platform until you can get atop a giant barrel with the coin.

Fortune Cookie 6 (First Nautical Bank checkpoint): after emerging from the sewers, hard to miss.

Coin 9 (Parking Lot checkpoint): at the parking lot, enter the leftmost back opening and activate the switch atop the white ambulance boat. Grab the Reef Blower and clear the area.

Fortune Cookie 7 (Dojo Estate checkpoint): after the unicycle section, amongst the gongs.

Coin 10 (Dojo Estate checkpoint): as you climb the dojo, you’ll get to a purple hook switch near a start sign. Press the switch and make your way to the finish line before the time is up to obtain this coin.
