Final Fantasy Resonance has 12 Legendary Arm Locations. Finding all Legendary Arms unlocks the Legendary Arms trophy & achievement.
Legendary Arms are special weapons, armor and accessories that are some of the strongest in the game, both in terms of stats and attributes they give you. To actually unlock them, you need to go through a few steps first. The first is to gain access to the airship at the start of Chapter 5, which will allow you to access the Chamber of Arms on the mountainous island between Dirnado and Gronoa. Land your airship and enter, then follow the corridor and step through a portal to enter the Legendary Arms chamber, where you’ll see all 12 of them crystallized on pedestals.
Interacting with each one will give you a hint to its location, although you can find the Legendary Arms without interacting with its pedestal first, or even entering the Chamber of Arms.
The next step is to collect an Arm, which will be in its ‘Ancient’ state, such as ‘Ancient Whip’. This will be extremely weak and next to useless. To power it up, return to the Chamber of Arms and interact with that Arm’s pedestal (which will now be glowing) and you will face a ‘trial’, which is a two-stage battle again a Level 50 enemy. These can be quite tough, so it’s recommended to come back later in the game when you are stronger. Nothing is missable and can be collected in free-roam.
After defeating the enemy, you will obtain the Legendary Arm and its name will change. Note that after finding all 12 Legendary Arms (and obtaining the Legendary Arms trophy & achievement), you can undergo another trial where you can fight a Level 75 enemy for each pedestal to receive a ‘+’ version of each Arm, but this isn’t needed for trophies.
The Legendary Arms are listed below as if the pedestals are a clock face, starting at 12 o’clock and going clockwise, but they can be collected at different parts of the game.
