Location: Central Hyrule > Lookout Landing
Quest Giver: Karson
Requirement: Started Main Quest: Regional Phenomena
Reward: Unlocks a Stable in Lookout Landing to park horses
Quest Info: Delighted by the roof’s completion, Karson finished the stable with incredible skill. Now you can board horses at Lookout Landing. Talk to Lester if you have any horse-related business.
Objectives:
- Repair the Stable Roof
Starting Location: The Incomplete Stable
To start this quest, talk to the two men standing at the stable, at the south exit of Lookout Landing.
Repair the Stable Roof
Press 
+ 
to activate Ultrahand ability. To the immediate left of the quest giver is a wooden plank on the floor. Pick it up with 
. Walk behind the stable. Then rotate the wooden plank to fit on the roof perfectly. When you place it correctly, a cutscene will automatically begin and the quest givers thank you.
This unlocks a stable to park a horse here in the future. See How to Catch Horses.

I can’t even get this to start. No plank on the ground either.

Neither can I, i checked after the wind temple, couldn’t start the quest, then did the fire temple, and i can still not unlock this quest, my friend who is playing as well had no issues to start it. I need this quest in order to finish the rito bridge as wzll, so kind of stuck here.

Hello! I had this issue aswell. There is a guy who is dressed kinda like a Knight in the middle of Lookout Landing and he is talking with a Goron (or near one). Talk to him so he will open the emergency shelter, then go back to where Lester is and Karson will be there with a ‘!’ for a quest
