AI Limit Twilight Hill – Withered Forest Walkthrough

Twilight Hill – Withered Forest is an optional side area. You aren’t required to progress through this area to complete the game, but it does include many items along with the third interaction with Vikas.

Twilight Hill – Withered Forest

Forest Entrance

NPC: Kastina – Kastina is on the wall to the left before progressing into the building, speaking with her and exhaust her dialogue.

Deadwoods

Headwear: Goggles – Purchased from Opossum’s Vending Machine beside Branch for 2500 Crystals.

The next area is fairly large and filled with items, so directions will be given relative to the Branch when possible. To progress you go to the back left of the area along a path that leads up the cliffs.

Weapon: Road Sign – Take the left path from the Branch, then cross the poison area to the center island with the large tree to pick up this weapon.

Key Item: Soil: Withered Forest – In the large poison lake take the middle path that turns to the left. Follow it to a cave where the soil is on the left. Return it to Delpha at Temporary Campsite, though this time he only gives 10 x Mud Balls.

Normal Seal: Moon Dew – Same cave as above on the right (green circle).

Armor: Hunter’s Armor – From the Branch take the path leading to the right around the poison water to the area with a ladder leading to the upper platforms. To the right of the ladder past a few spike traps is a chest with this armor.

Armor: Raincoat – From above keep following the path to the right and up the next ladder. Go through the boxes and drop down to the next platform to find a chest with this armor.

Headgear: Hunter’s Mask – From the Branch take the left path and just past the enemies break the boxes behind the ladder leading to the upper level.

Normal Seal: Deadwood Form – Climb up the ladder just past the first two Hunter enemies. Climb up the platform to the highest level, then drop down to the long platform to the left. Drop down to the ground where there is a ladder leading into the ground and a gate you can open that allows you to climb back up to the platforms. The Seal will be on the ground near the ladder.

Key Item: Dew Essence – Take the ladder down into the cave. There are a bunch of snail enemies in the poison water, defeat the large one with the crystals on its shell to receive the Dew Essence.

Spell: Terra Inferno – From the Branch take the left path and continue along the left past the poison lake to where there are two Necro enemies with large arms. By the wall you can pick up this Spell. Path left of them leads to next Branch (green circle).

Twilight Foothills

Lost Blader #5 – The Blader is immediately in your path after the Branch.

Weapon: Corrupted Blader Swords – Obtained after defeating the Lost Blader.

Normal Seal: Brief Polymerization – After the Lost Blader turn right before climbing the ladder and interact with the Memory behind the wall.

Normal Seal: Slayer – After climbing the ladders interact with the Memory to the left of the Arboretum entrance.

Key Item: Crystal Sprout – Inside the Arboretum go up either ramp to the top area and pick this up from the railing. The Crystal Sprout allows you to respec your spend level points at any time you wish at a Branch.

To continue take the zipline outside the Arboretum to reach the platforms above the poison lake, then follow them to the end. Watch for the two shortcut ladders that can be dropped along the way that allow you to get back up from the closer to the Deadwoods Branch if the enemies kill you or you fall down.

Hunters’ Trestle

Boss: Hunter Squad

Weapon: Hunter’s Blades – Obtained automatically after defeating Hunters Squad group boss.

NPC: Vikas – On the path after defeating the boss, exhaust his dialogue. Vikas questline #3

You can now return to the Branch Sunken City Overground – Flooded Street > Eastern Square to continue the story path.
