Arknights Endfield Cost of Hope Walkthrough

Cost of Hope is a side questline in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Cost of Hope side questline.

Starting Location: Valley IV > Valley Pass
Quest Giver: Read a message from Fiona after completing Main Mission 12 – Work Preparation
Requirement: Complete Main Mission 12 – Work Preparation
Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 42,540 T-Creds, 18 Intermediate Combat Records, 14 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP
Quest Description: Arclight of the Hannabit Circuit is requesting help from Endfield. You decide to head to the entrance of the Valley Pass and meet up with Perlica.

This questline has multiple parts.

Cost of Hope I

Objectives:

Go to Valley Pass
Meet with Arclight
Find Mia’s drawings
Keep looking for Mia’s drawings
Look for more of Mia’s drawings
The team enters the cave
Defeat the Landbrakers
Use the scanning feature to locate the mechanism for opening the door
Open the secret door

Starting Location: Cost of Hope I

After Main Mission 12 – Work Preparation, open your messages and read the message from Fiona to unlock Cost of Hope I.

Go to Valley Pass

Travel to Valley Pass and walk along the path to trigger a cutscene.

Meet with Arclight

Head up the path until another cutscene plays out.

Find Mia’s drawings

Head into the base and turn right. Defeat some Landbreakers and walk up to the big tower to find the drawing.

Keep looking for Mia’s drawings.

Continue down the left path until you reach the next drawing on the wall of the building.

Look for more of Mia’s drawing.s

Head up the stairs and into the shack.

The team enters the cave

Follow the marker into the caves.

Defeat the Landbrakers

Defeat the Landbreakers with Arclight.

Use the scanning feature to locate the mechanism for opening the door

Head around the corner following the marker and use your scanner ( on PS5).

Open the secret door

Use the switch to open the secret door by solving the puzzle.

You receive 75 Oroberyl, 42540 T-Creds, 18 Intermediate Combat Records, 14 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP.

Cost of Hope II

Starting Location: Valley IV > Valley Pass
Quest Giver: Automatically unlocks after completing Side Mission- Cost of Hope I
Requirement: Complete Side Mission – Cost of Hope I
Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 4250 T-Creds, 18 Intermediate Combat Records, 14 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP
Quest Description: You successfully opened the secret door of the Landbreaker “lab”. You hope you can find clues of Mia’s whereabouts.

Objectives:

Go through the secret door and keep exploring
Defeat the Landbreaker
Find the grown-ups that Mia mentioned
Talk to Arclight
Find some Metal Components
Give Arclight the Metal Components
Defeat the Landbreakers
Talk to Zach (Optional) Talk to others

Starting Location: Cost of Hope II

The quest immediately begins after the completion of Cost of Hope I.

Go through the secret door and keep exploring

Continue through the new path opened by the switch.

Defeat the Landbreaker

You’ll run into a loan Landbreaker after the cutscene plays. Defeat the Landbreaker.

Find the grown-ups that Mia mentioned

Move up a short distance, and you’ll see another cutscene with more Landbreakers. After the scene, you’ll have to defeat the Landbrakers trying to get to the civilians.

Find the Cage key

After the battle, you’ll be asked to find the cage key to open the gate. Turn around and head into the small room. Behind the object in the center, you’ll find the key marked by a yellow indicator.
