Illusion is a side mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Illusion side mission.
- Starting Location: Valley IV > Originium Science Park
- Quest Giver: Automatically unlocked after completing Main Mission 17 – Mystery in the Building
- Requirement: Completing Main Mission 17 – Mystery in the Building
- Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 4,600 T-Creds, 14 Intermediate Combat Records, 8 Protoprism, 11 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP
- Quest Description: Two frustrated UWST Scientists are trying to look for a missing medicinal sample. You decide to help them out.
Objectives:
- Find the Medicine at the work platform by the road / Go to the Transport nexus to find the medication
- Find the medicine “where the road is out”
- Defeat the Landbreakers
- Return with Linnaeus’s Medicine
- Follow Linnaeus to the test area
- Feed the long-ear with some Buckflowers
- Chase the long-ear that ate some buckflowers
- Return with the Buckflowers
- Feed the long-ear some Citromes
- Chase the long-ear that ate some Citromes
- Return with the Citromes
- Feed the long-ear with Linnaeus’s Medicine
- Chase the long-ear that took the Medicine
- Gather the rare fungus
- Return with the rare fungus
- Talk to Linnaeus
Starting Location: Illusion
After finishing the Main Mission 17 – Mystery in the Building, you can find this quest south of the main entrance to the Originium Science Park.
Find the Medicine at the work platform by the road / Go to the Transport nexus to find the medication
Head west from the garden following the marker. You’ll see a document behind the truck. Read it to get Joan’s Message.
Next, head north until you see a Blight with a core on the top of it. Equip an Industrial Explosive and throw it at the core to destroy the Blight. If you haven’t already, you can acquire by completing Exploration Mission – Produce Industrial Explosives.
Run up the path and around the corner to find the Scrawled Note.
Find the medicine “where the road is out”
From the previous location, head south to where you’ll find some dogs and a Landbreaker next to an open container.
Defeat the Landbreakers
Defeat the dogs and the Landbreakers, then look inside the container for Linnaeus’s Medicine.
Return with Linnaeus’s Medicine
Return to the lab and hand the Medicine back to Linnaeus.
Follow Linnaeus to the test area
Linnaeus will head out and ask you to follow him. Follow him all the way to the Depression.
Feed the long-ear with some Buckflowers
Find the green long-eared bunny in the center of The Depression. Approach it and feed it a Buckflower.
Chase the long-ear that ate some buckflowers
Make sure you pay attention and follow the bunny. It will enter a tube and exit the other side. Look around to make sure you find the right tube; otherwise, it will come out of it, and you’ll have to start this part of the quest from the beginning. Follow it until it leads you to the Buckflowers. When it reaches its destination, pick up the Buckflowers.
Return with the Buckflowers
Return to where you left Linnawus and his assistant and give him the Buckflowers.
Feed the long-ear some Citromes
Just like with the Buckflowers, give the long-eared bunny Citromes.
Chase the long-ear that ate some Citromes
Once again, keep an eye on the bunny and follow it until it leads you to some Citromes plants.
Return with the Citromes
Return the Citromes to Linnaeus.
Feed the long-ear with Linnaeus’s Medicine
This time, you’ll give the bunny Linnaeus’s Medicine that you found earlier.
Chase the long-ear that took the Medicine
Follow the bunny until it leads you to some Buckflowers. Wait at the Buckflowers, and the bunny will then continue through some more pipes and up a hill. Climb the hill until you see a large fungus.
Gather the rare fungus
Walk up to it and pick up the large fungus.
Return with the rare fungus
Head back down the hill and return the fungus to Linnaeus.
Talk to Linnaeus
Linnaeus takes the fungus and goes back to his lab. Head back up to Linnaeus’ lab and speak to him to complete the quest.
You receive 75 Oroberyl, 4,600 T-Creds, 14 Intermediate Combat Records, 8 Protoprism, 11 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP.
This finishes the Illusions Side Mission in Arknights Endfield.
