The Road is Rough is an Exploration Mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Road is Rough Exploration Mission.
- Starting Location: Valley IV > The Hub
- Quest Giver: Salman
- Requirement: Complete Main Mission 11 – Paving The Way
- Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 5,150 T-Creds, 16 Intermediate Combat Records, 9 Protoprism, 12 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP.
- Quest Description: The director of the Hub Base is overwhelmed with work. Perhaps you can help her out, Endministrator.
Objectives:
- Meet with the client
- Deploy a zipline pylon near Hartmann and power it up
- Place more zipline pylons from start point to end point
- Head back to the starting point and meet with Hartmann
- Go to the Hub Base
- Find Hartmann
- Craft Buckflower Powder (0/1)
- Give Hartmann the Buckflower Powder
- Investigate the nearby area (0/3)
- Talk to Wulfgard
- Talk to Hartmann
Starting Location: The Road is Rough
Head north of the TP location in the Hub Base to find Salman standing in front of two vehicles.
Meet with the client
Head north after speaking with Salman to the furthest point of the Hub Base to find Hartmann.
Deploy a zipline pylon near Hartmann and power it up
Place down a zipline pylon.
Travel to the closest Power Relay you have, set up Power Relays to the Zipline, and power it up.
Place more zipline pylons from start point to end point
You now have to head up the cliff east of the PAC. Follow the path and make a turn to head east to the edge of the cliff to find Hartmann. Place another zipline pylon in the area so it connects to the one you placed below at the Hub Base.
You now have to connect more Power Relays to provide power to the Zipline at the top of the hill.
Head back to the starting point and meet with Hartmann
Once the power is connected, take the Zipline down to the Hub Base.
Go to the Hub Base
Head to the marker on your map in the Hub Base. It’s the northern stairs that lead to the base. When you approach, you’ll receive two messages that you will read automatically.
Find Hartmann
Head to the power stations where the marker is pointing you to. You’ll find Hartmann lying on the ground.
Craft Buckflower Powder (0/1)
With some Buckflower in your possession, open the crafting menu and craft a Buckflower Powder.
Give Hartmann the Buckflower Powder
Give the Buckflower Powder to Hartmann.
Investigate the nearby area (0/3)
In the same area where Hartmann is down on the floor, there are three objects you should interact with.
Talk to Wulfgard
Wulfgard is standing next to the last object you collected. Speak to him.
Talk to Hartmann
Turn back to Hartmann, who has recovered from the attack. Speak to him to complete the quest.
You receive 75 Oroberyl, 5,150 T-Creds, 16 Intermediate Combat Records, 9 Protoprism, 12 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP.
