Dead Island 2 The Clean and the Snatch Walkthrough

The Clean and the Snatch is a Lost and Found Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Clean and the Snatch Lost and Found mission.

Starting Location: Beverly Hills
Counts Towards Quest Completion in Region: Beverly Hills
Requirement: Reached Beverly Hills during Main Quest 7: O Michael, Where Art Thou?
Reward: Electrocutor Officer’s Sword (Unique Weapon), 2000 XP
Mission Info: Local pool cleaner, Obi, took revenge on a rude client by stealing an heirloom sword. Follow the trail of clues left behind on his last round of the Beverly Hills pools and steal it for yourself.

Starting Location: The Clean and the Snatch

The Clean and the Snatch starts by picking up Journal #1: A Parting Gift at the Pool outside Beverly Hills Headquarters, the villa with a workbench on the right side of the map. There is a lockbox with Obi’s Things in the Pool that requires Obi’s Keys. We will obtain it during this quest and must then backtrack for it.

Follow the paper trail around the pools of Beverly Hills

You must now find 3 more journals around the pools of Beverly Hills. These are required to make Obi spawn for the next objective.

Journal #2: Dave’s Phone
In the east of Beverly Hills on the sunbeds outside a pool.

Journal #3: Note from Michael
In the north middle of Beverly Hills, inside an empty pool.

Journal #4: Obi’s Phone
In the middle of Beverly Hills outside a toxic pool.

Which pool belongs to Obi’s crush?

Now that you have the journals you must travel to Bel-Air (different region, it’s not in Beverly Hills). In Bel-Air go to the Villa in the south called “GOAT Pen”, the one with the fake grass on the roof. In the pool you will find a zombie called Obi the Pool Guy. Defeat him, grab the Obi’s Key he drops.

You wouldn’t steal a stolen sword! Would you?

Backtrack to the lockbox where the quest started in Beverly Hills. Use Obi’s Key to open it. This finishes the quest and unlocks the Electrocutor Officer’s Sword. One of the best early-game weapons.
