Wind-Riding Knight is the fifth subquest in the Prologue: Act 1, The Outlander Who Caught The Wind, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Wind-Riding Knight Archon Subquest.
Wind-Riding Knight is unlocked automatically when you finish the previous subquest, Forest Rendezvous.

Keep Heading Towards Mondstadt
Now that you have the Crimson Crystal, make your way south out of the Whispering Woods.
Talk to The Perky Girl
As you step out of the Whispering Woods, a girl donning a red uniform stops you. She informs you that she is a member of the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt and interrogates you about your activity. After some explanation, she decides to escort you to Mondstadt City. What dialogues you pick doesn’t matter.
Defeat the Airborne Slime
Immediately after unlocking Amber as a playable character, an Anemo Slime flies in the distance. Press 
to change to Amber. Here you learn about the basic and charged attacks while using a bow. Use those attacks to defeat the Anemo Slime. Use L2/LT to draw the bow and R2/RT to shoot.
Unlike basic attacks, charged attacks with a bow apply that character’s element to the shot. Here, you see another example of elements interacting together as you attack the Anemo Slime with Pyro arrows.
Head to The Location Designated By Amber
Once you defeat the Anemo Slime, continue down the path, speaking with Paimon and Amber along the way, until you reach and activate the next Teleport Waypoint.
The story automatically transitions into the next quest: Going Upon the Breeze
