Take the Biscuit is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Take the Biscuit side mission.
Location: Hogsmeade
Quest Giver: Garnuff
Quest Level: Level 20
Requirement: Having Finished Main Quest: Astronomy Class
Reward: 300 Gold, Appearances, 180XP
Mission Info: I noticed a goblin near the western bridge in Hogsmeade lamenting about a ‘biscuit’. This piqued my curiosity, and I should chat with him when I have time.
Objectives:
- Talk to the goblin in Hogsmeade
- Find the Poacher Camp where Biscuit is held
- Rescue Biscuit
- Return to Garnuff
Starting Location: Take the Biscuit
Talk to the goblin in Hogsmeade
Just talk to Garnuff, he wants you to rescue Biscuit, a beast.
Find the Poacher Camp where Biscuit is held
Follow the quest marker to the Camp.
Rescue Biscuit
Once you are at the Camp, defeat all enemies.
After defeating the enemies, interact with the cage to free Biscuit. It has a Level 1 lock which you can open using Alohomora spell (you will automatically have it from the story at this point, was unlocked in Main Quest: The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament).
Biscuit will run away, equip the Nab-Sack, follow Biscuit, and rescue it with the Nab-Sack.
Return to Garnuff
Once you got Biscuit, return to Garnuff.
This finishes Take the Biscuit Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.

This quest is bugged. If you open the lock on the cage before you accept the quest, you won’t be able to open the cage and can’t finish the quest.

Oh dang. Poor Biscuit! I can’t get to them either!

Be very careful not to open any of the cages prior to these missions. As of right now (11\2) you CANNOT Rescue them.

Not only does the lock not spawning prevent you from completing the mission, not being able to do it prevents you from reaching level 40 as exp is only earned towards things in challenges. (you stop earning xp for killing once you complete the challenge.) So you literally need to finish every challenge to reach max level.

I started the quest but Biscuit got away from me and now I can’t find her or any of the other mooncalfs, what do I do?

Can’t complete this mission even though I did it correctly because when I try to return to granuff it doesn’t register, just loops convo. I have biscuit in my inventory and everything
