Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta Dremuchij Collectible Locations

Dremuchij is the 1st region in Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta: Snake Eater.

Dremuchij South

Weapon (Survival Knife) – Automatically obtained story weapon. You start with this weapon.

Face Paint (Mask) – Automatically obtained story face paint. You start with this.

Weapon (Mk22) – Automatically obtained story weapon. Acquired after collecting your backpack.

Weapon (EZ Gun) – If starting a new game on Very Easy only, you get this after collecting your backpack. It is also unlocked after earning the markhor codename for collecting all 48 animals and plants.

Once you get your backpack you might as well knock out several missable, but very easy trophies.  Can I Keep It? (catch an animal alive),  Snake Eater (eat a Snake),  Mostly Dead (use the Fake Death pill from your items),  Serenity Now (call frequency 140.01 to unlock this),  I Can Totally See You (equip the Flecktarn camo and prone on a green patch of ground, or use leaf or woodland and prone in some grass).

Kerotan #1 + Ga-Ko #1 – After getting your backpack. Go back to where you started in the area, take the east slope up to the top. When facing the tree that had your backpack, look to your left to see both of these on a rock. You will unlock  Prince Charming and  Ugly Duckling here.

 

Frog B (Tree Frog) – In the area where you started, hopping around in a patch of grass to the right of the log you crawl under. On Very Easy difficulty, you can use the Sonar item (hold to equip and pin mit ) to mark animals. It can be hard to see, try crawling on the ground through the grass, and watch out for rustling in the grass.

Mushroom C (Siberian Inkcap) – In the area where you started, at the base of the trees to the left and right of the log you had to crawl under to reach the backpack.

Mushroom A (Russian Oyster Mushroom) – In the area where you started, on a tree stump on the left.

Snake H (Reticulated Python) – In the area where you got your backpack in the grass near the log you can crawl under.

Snake G (Giant Anaconda) – In the area where you got your backpack near the exit.

Fruit B (Russian False Mango) – Hanging on a tree to the left of the one where you collected your backpack. A big green fruit.

Trophy: Cinephile – After getting the backpack, use your radio to save the game, afterwards Para-Medic will talk to Snake about a movie, unlocking this trophy.

Dremuchij Swampland

Indian Gavial (Food) – Crocodiles found in the swamp area, kill one with the knife to collect its meat and eat it from food menu.

Ga-Ko #2 – On the island in the middle of the swamp, in between the tree.

 

Hornet’s Nest (Food) – On the island in the middle of the swamp, hanging from a tree. Eat it.

Kerotan #2 – After the swamp, stand in the 2nd patch of grass that you move through, look to the right to see this on a rock.

 

Dremuchij North

You will encounter the first guards in the game here. If you want feel free to make a manual save and get all of the guard based trophies here, then reload your save as this is a no kill playthrough.  Mama Said,  Like He Just Doesn’t Care,  Tell Me Where The Bomb Is.

Weapon (SVD) – As soon as you enter the area there is a path on the right leading to the weapon at the end.

Fruit C (Golova) – This is hanging off a tree to the right of the first patrolling guard ahead of you when you enter this area. Looks like small greenish/yellowish pear.

Bird E (Sunda Whistling-Thrush) – Directly below Fruit C in the patch of grass, can be difficult to see and shoot from a distance, you can shake down guards for grenades and use those, just make sure you have knocked out all guards in the area first and moved them away first. Looks like a black raven. Will fly away if disturbed. Respawns when re-entering the area.

Fruit A (Yabloko Moloko) – Go directly north from where you entered the area to the very end, past fruit C. You will see these red colored fruit hanging from a tree above, looks like big red apples. Where the second guards patrols.

Weapon (Grenade) – Inside the hollow tree stump of where you found Fruit A.

Ga-Ko #3 – Just behind the tree with Fruit A, on a log next to a rock.

 

Bird D (Magpie) – From facing the north exit, go right and down to an area with a large patch of grass by a log, throw a grenade into this patch and collect the bird. Respawns when re-entering the area.

Kerotan #3 – Just past the patch of grass where Bird D was you will see a log next to a tree stump, this is on top of the stump.

 

Thermal Goggles (Item) – To the left of the Kerotan, inside the log you can crawl through. The thermal goggles are very useful to spot animals and other items with a heat signature. Use them frequently while looking for animals. You equip them from the Backpack under Items, then hold .

Weapon (Stun Grenade) – Where the Kerotan was, follow the path through the grass, follow the wall at the edge of the area behind a big tree stump to find this.
