Introduction

Welcome to the Reanimal Trophy Guide! Reanimal is a very fast and easy platinum. It can be done entirely solo or in co-op. Simply follow the walkthrough and either play along to the video or the text, whichever you prefer. All trophies are obtainable in a single run. The chapter-specific trophies can still be done through New Game > Chapter Select if you miss any. However, the Secret Ending will only trigger if you find all 5 Coffins in a single playthrough so watch out for these (getting missed Coffins via replay won’t work). Likewise, the 5th Hidden Statue will only light up and give a Mask if you found all Hidden Statues within the same playthrough (getting missed Hidden Statues via replay won’t work). If you leave an area, you often can’t go back to the previous area anymore, so you’ll want to be careful and not skip anything. If you want peace of mind, check your trophy trackers after each chapter to confirm you got everything and back up your save to PS+ Cloud. If you missed a Coffin/Statue you can download your save again – but this is entirely optional and not necessary if you are thorough.

Step 1: Follow the 100% Walkthrough

Simply follow the Reanimal 100% Walkthrough and you will automatically earn Platinum in a single playthrough. It includes all trophies and collectibles. It will also help you with where to go and what to do for story progression.

Rock ‘n Pop
Break open the popcorn machine in the cinema
Bronze
Chapter 2: The Cleaning House

In Chapter 2 you will enter a cinema. In the entrance hall of the cinema, pick up the rock near the door and throw it at the vending machine on the left. This is just before using the bolt cutters to cut the chain on the cinema door.

Dark Tourism
Push the sightseer into the pit
Bronze
Chapter 1: Dead in the Water

In Chapter 1, shortly after going over a rotating tube, you will go outside and reach an area with rail tracks. On the right side is a camping chair you can kick down from behind. It will fall down the cliff and unlocks the trophy. This is the area just before you repair a rail cart (must put 2 wheels on it for story progression). If you reach the rail cart go back to the start of the area to find the chair.

Scared to Dust
Break all petrified kids in the clock tower
Bronze
Chapter 4: No Shelter

Very shortly after Chapter 4 starts you will enter a clocktower. In the first room, destroy all 13 petrified kid statues to unlock the trophy. Some of these are hard to see, turn up the volume and listen to the “breaking” sound when you attack with the crowbar. 2 are leaned against the left side in the shadow (hard to see), 2 are leaned against the cardboard boxes in the bottom right of the screen (just before a clothes hanger, hard to see), 3 in middle sitting on floor leaned against boxes, 1 sitting on floor at the center top of the room (leaned against wardrobe), 5 standing around the middle of the room in plain sight (easy to see).

Creature Comforts
Comfort the scared pig
Bronze
Chapter 5: Down in a Hole

Shortly after the start of the chapter, you light up a few street lamps and come to a broken path where you must stay close to your partner to not fall down (you’re roped together). Then you meet a friendly NPC who puts down a wooden plank for you to cross over a gap. Right after this, a pig will run across the screen. Follow the pig to the left and press :triangle: to interact with it to pop the trophy.

Lullabye
Play the piano
Bronze
Chapter 5: Down in a Hole

Immediately after :bronze: Creature Comforts, go through the next room and through the next door. You will be in a corridor with a small piano on the left side. Interact with the piano 3 times to get the trophy.

Long Live The King
Steal the crown from the leader of the Spider Kids
Bronze
Chapter 4: No Shelter

Inside the clock tower you will enter a room full of enemies with a crown-wearing king enemy on a throne. Defeat the regular enemies until the king climbs down the throne, he will then disappear behind the throne. Then he tries to sneak from behind the throne to the top right corner of the area towards the wall. Quickly kill him while he walks behind the throne before he disappears. You can’t hit him while he’s on the throne nor while he’s climbing down. Only after he “disappeared” behind the throne he will start walking on the floor. He’s hard to see because the camera hides him behind the throne and he blends in with other enemies. He looks just like the kid enemies, except he has a crown on his head. After defeating him, pick up his crown which counts as a mask and secret! If you’re not fast enough he will leave the room and you need to restart the checkpoint. Don’t finish the fight until you got this (leave one other enemy alive).

Shot Through the Heart
Kill 10 Spider Kids while fighting the Mother
Silver
Chapter 5: Down in a Hole

At the end of the chapter you fight a big spider boss by throwing spears at it. During the spider boss fight, enemies will appear and throw spears at you. Defeat 10 of the enemies by throwing spears back at them. DON’T throw spears at the spider until you got this trophy. If you defeat the spider the other enemies stop spawning, but you can quickly “restart checkpoint” if you miss the trophy to retry the fight from the start. Each time the spider disappears there will be 2-3 enemies throwing spears at you, pick up one spear, then after the spider disappears use that spear to immediately throw it at the next group of kid enemies. Rinse and repeat 10 times. You will only have enough time to throw 1 spear per round. The spider can only spawn from 2 spots: if it spawns from the front center, stay on the far left & if it spawns from the left stay on the far right. Then it can’t hit you.

Lost at Sea
Travel a great distance with the boat
Silver
You drive a boat during Chapters 1, 3, 6. This just requires you to drive a total of 10,000 meters with the boat. It counts cumulatively across all playthroughs. You could get it right at the very start of the game However, it’s more efficient to keep it for Chapter 6, by that point you will have around 80% progress toward the trophy automatically. Then just drive the boat back and forth in Chapter 6 till the trophy unlocks. If you don’t get it during your playthrough, load up Chapter 1 again to quickly get it there. You can check the tracker in the trophy list to see your progress.
Survival Instinct
Fail to save your friend from being killed
Bronze
Chapter 4: No Shelter

Shortly after entering the clock tower, you will encounter a new type of enemies that look like kids made out of sand. You will fight these constantly throughout the chapter. Let one of these enemies grab your partner, then wait for the enemy to kill your partner to pop the trophy. Just hang back and don’t attack the enemies.

Secret Bunker
Input the secret code
Silver
Chapter 6: Nobody Left Behind

From the start of the chapter go through the tunnel on the right and through the next door to reach a lab. Exit through the door on the right, pull the lever on the generator to turn on the power. Now head back inside the lab. On the left side is a console with 4 glowing dots. You must enter this sequence from left to right: 2-3-3-2 (dot in middle – dot at bottom – dot at bottom – dot in middle). Then pull the lever on the right to pop the trophy. This also makes a secret poster collectible appear to the left of the console.

Non-Cannonical
Fire at the secondary target with the cannon
Bronze
Chapter 6: Nobody Left Behind

For this you must use the big cannon on the central island of Chapter 6 to shoot the bunker. Drive the boat to the central island with the big cannon on it. Grab a cannon shell from the red glowing crate on the island. Carry the shell inside and load it into the cannon – you interact with the little wheel on the back on the cannon to hold the door and your partner will put in the shell. Then press the glowing button on the wall to the right of the cannon by the entrance, this opens the window. Use the big wheel to spin the cannon toward the bunker from where you came. Interact with the two switches to shoot the cannon, thus destroying the bunker and popping this trophy. You don’t need to align the shot perfectly, if the aim is in the general direction of the bunker it should work.

Naval Blazing
Clear 20 naval mines in one playthrough
Silver
During Chapter 3 you unlock the ability to throw harpoons while driving the boat (press :l1: + :square: ). Destroy a total of 20 sea mines throughout Chapter 3 and Chapter 6. Other chapters don’t have sea mines.

There are only 4 more sea mines in the game than you need (24 total). So you can miss 4 total but not more than that. If you follow the Walkthrough or Collectible Guide you will get these automatically along the way.

Chapter 3 only has 2 optional sea mines that lead to a Coffin Collecitble, with the rest being automatic story-related and unmissable. So even if you missed the 2 optional ones from Chapter 3, you still have more than enough sea mines in Chapter 6 alone. So worst case, if you don’t get the trophy you only need to replay Chapter 6 and destroy all sea mines there and you’ll still reach 22 sea mines total.

Friends Like These
Accidentally shoot your friend
Bronze
Chapter 8: The Watcher

When you reach a shooting range, where you have to pick up a gun for story purposes, shoot your AI companion with one of the guns. Normally you are supposed to shoot a practice dummy for story progression, but for the trophy you must fire at your AI buddy instead. You can shoot multiple times if you miss.

Just Making Sure
Get your revenge on the Sniper
Bronze
Chapter 8: The Watcher

In Chapter 8 you automatically shoot a rocket launcher at a sniper in a clock tower (story-related, unmissable). Afterward, go forward and enter the rubble on the right side of the path, below the clocktower where the sniper fell down. Kick the body of the sniper to get the trophy.

Destruction Derby
Wreck 24 cars from the comfort of your own vehicle
Bronze
Chapter 9: All-Consuming Past

During Chapter 9 you will be driving a tank. Drive it over 24 car wrecks to flatten them. There are a few optional cars near the start, then a few during a chase sequence where you must escape from an enemy. The trophy should pop at the end of the chase sequence if you didn’t miss a car. There are a few more cars than needed, so it’s fine to miss a few.

If you play Local Co op, would Trophies pop for both players if you are signed in to your own account with each controller?
