In Starfield all Kiosks and Merchants have a limited amount of money. This can be annoying when you want to sell a lot of items all at once and the merchant runs out of money.
Luckily, there is a quick and easy trick!
Simply sleep in a bed for 24-48 hours and all merchants will restock their inventory and money.
You can find a bed on your own spaceship and later in the lodge (main base of The Constellation in Alpha Centauri > Jemison > New Atlantis > Lodge). Sitting on a chair near the merchant and choosing “Wait” also works. If they don’t restock after 24 hours try sleeping/waiting another 24 hours.
It only lets you sleep 24 hours at a time but you can immediately sleep again for another 24 hours. Revisit the merchant, sleep again, repeat. You can also cycle between merchants. Remember every major city’s landing pad has a sales kiosk, and there’s usually at least one human vendor in town who carries more money. So visit the human merchant(s) too and not just the sales kiosk.
