Sword of the Sea has 5 frogs that are required to be found for the following trophies / achievements:
- Desert Rain Frog
- Bullfrog
- Horned Frog
- Poison Dart Frog
- Frog Skeleton
Frogs are hidden collectibles that can be found in the “exploration” levels of the game. There is one frog in each, hidden in an out of the way area. Finding them just requires reaching their location and going near them to unlock their associated trophy/achievement. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected through Chapter Select.
Frog Locations
Veiled Sea
After activating the sphere water point that activates the right side chain, use the newly spawned kelp behind the building to reach the top of the waterfall. Follow the cliffs around to the right where there are stone platforms sticking out to the left. Where you can see the set of 4 going farther down you can drop to the lowest level where you can find the frog.
Lost Grotto
After activating the sphere water point that activates the chain opening the level exit, stay on top of the building and go behind the large shark statue. Look down and you can see a long thin rooftop extending towards a stone pillar. Go across this rooftop and jump up the edges on the pillar to find the frog.
Frozen Tundra
After activating the first gold bell to reach the large open area, go toward the back to find a ramp leading to the tallest platform in the middle of the area. Boost and charge jump to reach it to find the frog.
Sacred River
After activating the sphere water point on top of the boat, use the kelp or grind the chain to reach the first pillar that the chain goes through. Jump and water grind to the cliff with a boat on it in the direction the chains are going to find the frog.
Boiling Cavern
When you reach the area with the water ball in front of the large door, go to the right across the boat and up to the one on the tall platform to find the frog skeleton on top on a lantern.
