Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Forgery Walkthrough

Forgery is a side mission in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Forgery Side Quest.

Forgery is unlocked after completing Side Quest: Goblins Tired of Forced Oppression.

Mission Info: In a shocking twist. it turns out blacksmithing is yet another thing Claptrap is no good at. But it’s okay! He has a plan: If you can’t make it. fake it!

Objectives:

Listen to Claptrap
Take pickaxe
Break into quarry & Pick lock
Collect Iron Ore Scraps
Return to Claptrap
Place ore in kiln
Wait for Claptrap
Hammer the metal
Go to the Mountain of Despair
Pick weak obsidian
Reach magical ring / Optional Objective: Collect Obsidian Ore
Pick ring free
Pick up Ring of Fire Dancing
Go to Ice Caverns
Find Cloak of Frost Resistance / Optional Objective: Collect Permafrost Ore
Hack the Cloak free
Kill Froblins
Kill Froblins to break enchantment
Take Cloak of Frost Resistance
Return to Claptrap
Place ring & Place cloak
Wait for Master Tonhammer to inspect the gear
Kill Master Tonhammer
Speak to Claptrap

Starting Location: Forgery

Listen to Claptrap

Listen to the beautiful voice of Claptrap. He wants you to fake some stuff for Master Tonhammer.

Take pickaxe

Just take the pickaxe to your left.

Break into quarry & Pick lock

Break into the quarry to your right and pick the lock by just meleeing it.

Collect Iron Ore Scraps

Right after you entered the quarry, you need to collect Iron Ore Scraps. All 15 pieces are in the same area, split into 5 rocks with 3 pieces each. For two of them you have to climb a ladder. The first three rocks are on the ground.

Now climb up the ladder behind the third rock to find the last two rocks.

Return to Claptrap

Return to Claptrap and talk to him.

Place ore in kiln

Place the ore into the oven next to Claptrap.

Wait for Claptrap

Claptrap is trying to forge the ore, wait for him to finish it.

Hammer the metal

Our beloved Claptrap will fail the task and you have to hammer (Melee) the metal.

Go to the Mountain of Despair

Once you forged the hammer, you have to go to the Mountain of Despair which is on the other side of the Map.

Pick weak obsidian

To enter the Mountain you have to melee the wall of obsidian.

Reach magical ring / Optional Objective: Collect Obsidian Ore

To proceed with the quest, you just have to reach the magical ring. However, if you want the bonus rare weapon after completing the quest you need to complete the optional objective. You come across all locations while going for the magical ring.

Once you got the optional objective done you can now go towards the ring.

Pick ring free

Pick the ring free to pick it up.

Pick up Ring of Fire Dancing

Right after picking the ring free you can pick it up.

Go to Ice Caverns

Now you have to enter the Ice Caverns. For that, you have to leave the mountain by jumping on the jump pad. You can’t miss it.

You enter the Ice Caverns by meleeing the wall.

Find Cloak of Frost Resistance / Optional Objective: Collect Permafrost Ore

The Cloak of Frost Resistance is in the middle of the Ice Cavern. It is recommended that you collect the Permafrost Ore before for the optional objective. If you do this you will get the bonus rare weapon at the end of this quest.
