The Abandoned Laborer is a Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Abandoned Laborer side mission.
Location: Eldin > Death Mountain > Death Mountain West Tunnel
Quest Giver: Mota
Requirement: Find the quest giver – it’s also recommended to have played Main Quest: Yunobo of Goron City until Yunobo joins your party
Reward: 1 x Large Zonai Charge
Quest Info: An Abandoned Laborer, Mota, got stranded in a cave after the track broke. He asked you to send him flying out of the cave on a cart.
Objectives:
- Free the Abandoned Laborer
Starting Location: The Abandoned Laborer
This quest is found in Eldin region > Death Mountain. At the bottom of the volcano, to the west of it, you can enter Death Mountain West Tunnel. Glide over the lava-filled gap to find the quest giver behind the broken tracks.
Free the Abandoned Laborer
Next to the quest giver is a minecart. Use Ultrahand ability to turn it and put it on the tracks. Now talk to the quest giver again and pick dialogue “Try getting onto the cart”. He will now climb in the cart.
Stand behind the cart, command Yunobo to do his rolling charge attack with 
on the cart. This will push the cart over the broken tracks. You can do this after Yunobo joins your party in Main Quest: Yunobo of Goron City.
You can simply paraglide back over the gap and climb the wall. Go to the end of the tracks and talk to the quest giver again. He will thank you for freeing him and gives you 1 x Large Zonai Charge.
This finishes The Abandoned Laborer Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
