The North Hyrule Sky Crystal is a Shrine Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). It unlocks Mayam Shrine. This guide explains where to find The North Hyrule Sky Crystal location to unlock the Mayam shrine.

The North Hyrule Sky Crystal Shrine Quest Location (Mayam Shrine)

The North Hyrule Sky Crystal Shrine Quest Solution (Mayam Shrine)

  1. Head to the shrine on the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago from the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower. Once on the archipelago activate the shrine above to start this quest.
  2. Head to the Southern most point of the archipelago and look toward the platform below to the South, there is a Flux Construct I on the island with the crystal for this shrine on its back. You don’t need to defeat the construct merely knock it off its back and continue with the other steps but its advised to just take it out. To defeat the Flux Construct I you must at least attack its weak point once. The weak point is the block with the 3 eyes on it. To defeat the Construct you must grab that block and detach it from the Construct and it will fall apart for a short time. When it turns into a box you must use Ultrahand again to remove that same block from the box. When it turns into a platform in the air it will eject blocks at you, stand on one when it reaches the ground and use Recall on it to bring you up to the platform:

  3. Once you have the crystal and/or defeated the Flux Construct grab the crystal and head to the Northern most part of the island and you will see a platform with rockets on and around it. Attach the crystals to the platform and place the rockets on the platform also but don’t attach them to the platform:
  4. Hit the rocket facing up. Once you have gone as far as you can place another rocket diagonally facing the shrine:
  5. Once you get as high as you can go again place one more rocket pointed toward the shrine. Attack the rocket to propel you toward the island:
  6. Once over the island detach the crystal and place it on the island. Once back on the island also, grab the crystal and bring it back to the shrine to complete this quest and get access to the shrine’s rewards:

The shrine itself doesn’t have any puzzles, it’s a “Rauru’s Blessing” reward shrine. Go inside, open the chest, and interact with the green gate at the end to complete the shrine.

For all other Shrines refer to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom All Shrines.
