Collectibles

Gold Trophy World’s Greatest Detective Gold Trophy
Complete all case files in single-player
There are a total of 71 Evidence Collectibles in Battlefield Hardline. Finding all of them is required for completing the Case Files and will earn you the “World’s Greatest Detective” trophy or achievement.

You must use your scanner to collect the pieces of evidence. It will make a buzzing sound when a collectible is nearby. The scanner will also highlight evidence in the game world when aiming at it. After you have completed a case file by finding all the required evidence you will unlock new weapons and equipment.
None of the collectibles are missable. You can get them via chapter select at any time. You don’t have to pick them up again if you die. All progress is saved instantly and you can quit out to the main menu without having to reach the next checkpoint.
The Prologue and Episode 5 “Gauntlet” don’t have any evidence. There are 10 episodes in total.

Episode 1: Back to School
Roughly 15 minutes into this episode you will be on a rooftop after a cutscene. You now have to use your scanner to tag a guy in the courtyard. After he has been talking to the other guards you can use the scanner to tag everyone else. There are a total of 9 people in the house in front of you (2 in front of the house, 3 in the first floor on the right, 3 in the second floor on the left, 1 in the second floor on the right) + the 1 you already tagged in the courtyard. This makes 10 enemies with blue tags in total.
More enemies will arrive in cars. There are a total of 9 enemies in the cars that you have to tag. 4 in the small car and 5 in the van. The enemies in the cars will be marked in red color. After tagging all 10 blue and 9 red enemies you will receive the trophy / achievement.

When the episode starts you have to cross some streets where police officers are patrolling. On the third street you reach is a police cruiser on the far right side, where you can see a helicopter hovering in the air. To get this trophy or achievement you have to complete the entire episode without alerting the enemies. It’s okay if they hear you running or look at you for a short moment, as long as the HUD doesn’t turn red. They are not allowed to shoot at you.
You should blow up the meth lab (optional objective) to distract the police guards. Restart the checkpoint immediately if you have alerted the enemies!

Blow up the meth lab in Ep. 5: Gauntlet
Episode 5: Gauntlet
A couple of minutes into this episode you will receive the optional objective to blow up a meth lab (when it objective is triggered it will be displayed on your screen, so you will know). Near the meth lab there are three enemies blocking your path. The purpose of blowing up the lab is to distract them.
Go downstairs and turn on the gas and lighter. Now run out of the building as quickly as possible and get away from the blast radius. It takes a moment for the meth lab to blow up, so just wait outside until the trophy / achievement unlocks.

Episode 7: Glass Houses
In the beginning of this episode you need to break into a mansion and plant a bug on the upper floor. This will trigger a cutscene and lots of enemies will arrive at the mansion. Go back downstairs and to the gym. Inside the gym is a hidden panel on the wall. Interact with it to open Roark’s secret room. You can only interact with it after planting the bug on the upper floor. It won’t work when you first arrive in the mansion (because the power is out).

Episode 8: Sovereign Land
After getting back your scanner you will have to head outside to a trailer park. The main objective is to reach the weapon box in the back of the area. For this trophy / achievement you must reach it undetected. The easiest option is to take the path on the left and jump over the fence. Now run to the weapon box and stay close to the fence (the weapon box is marked on the screen).

Bronze Trophy Real Action Hero Bronze Trophy
Kill a criminal in Independence Day from mid-air after escaping the penthouse
Episode 9: Independence Day
After breaking into the penthouse vault you must use a zipline to escape the area. Before interacting with the zipline you should go to the weapon box and equip the Bold Eagle.
While hanging on the zipline there is a very short scene where you can shoot some enemies on the balcony of the penthouse (3 seconds). Kill one of them to unlock the trophy or achievement.

If you don’t score a kill you can exit to the main menu and resume the game. You will now respawn in the penthouse and can try it again.

Find the hidden access to the mansion grounds in Ep. 10: Legacy
Episode 10: Legacy
There are many different paths to take in this mission. To find the hidden access you need to go to the far end of the island and down to the beach. Here you will see two enemies and a weapon box. If you look up you can see two platforms at the side of the hill. Use your grappling hook to climb up and you will unlock the trophy / achievement.

Bronze Trophy Dare Devil Bronze Trophy
Jump the dirt bike into the mansion grounds in Ep. 10: Legacy
Mission 10: Legacy
In this mission you will be on an island. Head towards the main objective and to the top of the hill where you will find an enemy camp. Now head to the front gates of the mansion, but do not enter the mansion grounds yet! Instead you should go to the very top of the hill until you see a wooden boardwalk. Drop down the boardwalk to find the dirt bike and drive it down the ramp in front of you to jump to the mansion grounds.

If you are having problems with the Dare Devil trophy, you have to shoot the bike until it’s like 40-45% health. Then it will pop. I found this out on a comment on a video guide.
