Final Fantasy Resonance has 26 Vision Locations. Finding all Visions unlocks the Will Crystallized trophy & achievement.
Visions are ghostly echoes of the main characters of all previous 16 Final Fantasy games, plus one villain, and nine original characters taken from the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile game which Resonance is adapted from. Visions act as this game’s take on the ‘Job’ system, as once equipped to a character they are battle partners, allowing you to use more abilities, attacks (both physical and magical) and support moves whilst also providing stat boosts. They are incredibly important, and swapping and rotating your Visions will have far more impact on your effectiveness in battle than your pure level. Once a Vision is maxed out on a character, swap it out for another one and level that up and continue the cycle, as this will become much more effective in the endgame as you have options for your build.
None of the Visions are missable, and indeed can still be collected after the story in free-roam, but it is highly recommended to collect them as you go. There’s no reason not to do so as almost all of them simply require you to enter a shrine, interact with a crystal and answer three short questions based on the story of the Final Fantasy game that Vision is from. You can answer however you want as it doesn’t affect anything.
