PS5 How to Change Resolution Output

November 8, 2020 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Wondering how to change resolution output on PS5? This is how you do it:

PS5 Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > Resolution > Automatic / 720p / 1080i / 1080p / 2160p (4K)

This will change the maximum resolution output by your PS5 console and applies to all games. Within the games you’re playing, you can usually select between “Performance Mode” and “Graphics / Resolution Mode”. If you prefer a higher resolution (4K) pick the Resolution Mode, but this comes at the cost of possibly a lower framerate.
