Introduction

Welcome to the Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide! Crash Team Rumble is a 4 vs 4 online brawler with the characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe. Each character comes with unique abilites and the goal of the game is depositing 2000 Wumpa Fruits in your base before the enemy team does. The game divides the characters in 3 classes: Scorer, Booster and Blocker. Scorers, as the name suggests, are mainly used for depositing Wumpas and can hold the highest amount of them at a time. Boosters are supporters who are meant to specialize in collecting relics to activate powerups and gem platforms to provide a score multiplier for the team. Blockers are meant to stop the enemy from scoring.

Some general gameplay information:

  • You can collect Wumpa Fruits from crates around the map and deposit them in the enemy base.
  • You can collect Relics and use them on Relic platforms to activate powerups for your team, the amount of Relics needed varies depending on what the powerup is.
  • Common Relic stations are simple powerups like the Quantum Masks from Crash Bandicoot 4 or catapults.
  • Each map has unique powerups and none of them appear on 2 different maps.
  • Each map has one big powerup in the middle of the arena which activates after a short time in the match, it costs 30 Relics and is also unique for each map (you can hold 15 Relics at a time).
  • The Epic Relic Stations are powerups that last for a longer time and in some cases they are extremely powerful (Aku Aku, Uka Uka, Spirit Guardians) while some of the others are less useful (TNT Drones, Dragons).
  • At the beginning some of the characters are unlocked while others have to be unlocked by finishing challenges, which aren’t particularly hard or grindy.

Step 1: Play the Tutorial and unlock the Characters and Equipment by playing Online Matches

Finish the tutorial and jump into the online matches. You want to unlock all the characters and gear first. They are locked behind simple challenges. Here is a short overview of what they mean:

  • Blocker Awards – simply beat up enemies who try to score to make them lose their Wumpas, doing that will award you those medals and you can even unlock multiple of them in a round the more you do it.
  • Scorer Awards – unlocked by depositing a certain amount of Wumpas in a match.
  • Booster Awards – activating gem platforms.
  • Activate x amount of Common Relic Stations – unlocked by depositing relics on common stations, the cheapest ones are Bandicatapults which cost only 2 Relics, but only appear on one map, the cheapest option on a map can varry between 2 and 5 Relics.
  • Activate x amount of Epic Relic Stations – activate the big powerup in the middle of a map, it also counts when someone else from your team does, just make sure to deposit some relics into it as well.

Step 2: Character and Equipment Trophies

Win a match with every character and with every piece of gear equipped once. Each character also has a unique trophy tied to their abilites. On your way you should be able to unlock all the trophies except reaching max level with one character which requires playing a lot more matches.

Step 3: Reach Level Cap with one Hero

For trophy Playing Favorites you must reach the level cap with one hero. The amount of time and EXP you need to max out a character is around 4 times longer than the time you need to finish all the other trophies in the game. The game provides you with some challenges like being the best blocker in a round, getting wins with a character, etc. but you will run out of them quickly and will still have to grind a high amount of EXP. The maximum level of a character is 15 and the amount of EXP needed for a level up gets higher with each rank. The EXP needed from level 14 to level 15 is over 66,600 while a good match will grant you somewhere around 2000. Getting kills and blocking is the best way to get EXP but it will still take some time. This will take round 20 hours after having finished all the other trophies.

Bronze
Just get yourself killed in a Competitive match.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Fruitful
Bank 300 Wumpa in one drop-off in a Competitive match.
Silver
There are multiple ways of achieving this. The highest amount you can carry is 130 when you play a Scorer character. With all gem platforms activated for your team you can hold up to 260 Wumpas, which still is not enough. What you can do to reach 300 Wumpas is:

  1. Equip the Wumpa Stash gear which when activated will let you carry 100 additional Wumpas once the fruit above your character fills up.
  2. Serenity Garden map has the Big Bonsai Epic Powerup and will let you pick up a Wumpa from it which also gives you additional 100.
  3. Just Beachy map has the Bonus Bank as the Epic Powerup which will double the Wumpas you deposit.

So you have 3 choices of how to approach the trophy.

Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Second Helping of Paincakes
As Crash, flatten 2 enemies at once with a Slam or Super Slam in a Competitive match.
Bronze
As Crash press :circle: or jump and press :circle: in the air. You have to hit AND flatten 2 enemies at the same time. When you flatten someone, you can’t do that again immediately. So if you flatten someone while trying to get it and only flatten the second person in your next jump while hitting both of them, it won’t unlock. You have to hit AND flatten 2 people at the same time.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Off the Wall
As Coco, hit 20 enemies with Quantum Walls in a single Competitive match.
Bronze
With Coco press :r2: to place a Wall, have 20 enemies run into them in a match. You can just stalk the enemies and shoot the walls at them.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Up to No Good
As Tawna, in a Competitive match, Uppercut an enemy then KO them before they land.
Bronze
With Tawna press :circle: to uppercut an enemy into the air and then KO them while they are still airborne.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Spin to Win
As Dingodile, knock back 3 enemies in a single charged Tailwhip in a Competitive match.
Bronze
Charge Dingodile’s tail attack by holding :square: and hit 3 enemies at the same time. Best done in the enemy Base while they try to deposit Wumpas.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Transformative
As Dr. Neo Cortex, transform all enemies in a single Competitive match.
Bronze
With Cortex hold :square: and then press :r2: to transform an enemy into an animal. Do it with all 4 enemies.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap In the Nick of Slime
As N. Brio, use a Slime Monster to stop a Gem capture at the last second in a Competitive match.
Bronze
When the enemy team has all the gem platforms in their red color wait for the timer circle to be almost full and then aim with :r2: and shoot a slime monster at one of the platforms to stop the capturing progress. The slime monsters count as if a player was standing on the platform and will interrupt the progress.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Burger Time
As Catbat, heal all allies in a single Competitive match.
Bronze
As Catbat throw Hamburgers with :r2: and have all your team members run into one to heal. You can basically just throw them at your teammates.
Crash Team Rumble Trophy Guide & Roadmap Pest Control
As N. Tropy, hit 3 enemies with a single Gravity Slam in a Competitive match.
Bronze
Probably the trickiest of the character trophies. With N. Trophy jump into the air and hold :circle: to perform a Gravity Slam. You will hit the ground and release a ring of gravity orbs which will hit enemies on impact. A bit luck based but you will get it sooner or later. Best done in the enemy base while they are trying to deposit Wumpas. Just get in the air when you see a cluster of enemies and try your luck.

In the Nick of Slime Seems buggy, I’ve hit so many times right before it counts for the enemy, it disturbs them everytime.
