Dead Island 2 The Art of War Walkthrough

The Art of War is a Side Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Art of War side mission.

Reward: 5000XP, Superior Ranged Cremator Mod
Mission Info: Rosa told you about a military stash down in the Metro. You found the goods, took down the zombified Darkest Before Dawn street art crew, and picked up something belonging to her friend Diego.

Objectives:

• Descend into the Metro to look for the military stash
• Check the gang’s hideout near some broken train  cars for the military stash
• The gang has a laptop? Check it out
• Keep busy while the laptop loads up
• So what loaded on the laptop?
• Head through the tunnel to ransack the gang’s supplies in the train cars
• Loot the gang’s supplies in the busted train cars
• Still no stash!  Head into the tunnels and find the DBD crew rebels
• Defeat the Darkest Before Dawn crew!
• RIP DBD Crew! Grab the dropped chest key and phone
• Finally! Claim the military stash

Starting Location: The Art of War

Descend into the Metro to look for the military stash

Use the fast travel map to get into the Metro.

Check the gang’s hideout near some broken train  cars for the military stash

Inside the metro use the left path and move forward until you see a door with a green light, turn right in front of the door.

You will find the hideout.

The gang has a laptop? Check it out

Interact with the laptop here.

Keep busy while the laptop loads up

A horde of zombies will attack, be prepared. There will be a lot of zombies.

So what loaded on the laptop?

Once you killed the horde of zombies, interact with the laptop again.

Head through the tunnel to ransack the gang’s supplies in the train cars

Now go through the door with the green light and follow the path.

Loot the gang’s supplies in the busted train cars

You will reach an area with some train cars. Loot them all, but be look out for the traps inside the train cars.

Destroy the traps by shooting at them from a distance.

Still no stash!  Head into the tunnels and find the DBD crew rebels

Once you looted all train cars, follow the quest marker further into the tunnels.

Defeat the Darkest Before Dawn crew!

The DBD crew will appear, kill them all.

RIP DBD Crew! Grab the dropped chest key and phone

After killing the DBD crew pick up the key and the phone.

Finally! Claim the military stash

Finally, you can open the military stash.

This finishes The Art of War Side Quest in Dead Island 2.
